I really don’t have the time to put together this list. But i’ve been chipping away at it for ages. It’s not perfect, but maybe one day I will update it to be closer to perfect some days. Although I must confess I wasn’t able to include all of my favorites ( I have approximately 25 favorite soulmate fics apparently).

Not all of these are Rivderdale, but most are. Not all of these are Bughead, but none of them involve Betty or Jughead in another partnership.

We love answering this question. There is usually a fight behind the scenes between the mods over who is willing to give up a favourite fic to one of their co-mods. lol. Personally, my list tends to stay pretty static if I’m asked about my ABSOLUTE favourites but there are lots of fics that are wonderful out there. Thank you all for sharing your talent with us! Hey!🖖🏻 I recently came across a really cute oneshot but I lost it and I hoped you could help me find it. It it was about Betty who was feeling disappointed because she had yet to lose the pregnancy weight when both her sister and her mother had already lost it by that time. Oh and I also remember that Alice had told her jughead was checking out a younger waitress . Sorry thats all I seem to remember cause I didn't have enough time to read it all. Hope its enough. Hey! Lol, I knew this one but all I could remember from it was ‘cinnamon buns’ which didn’t help because I misremembered cinnamon rolls. (In case anyone wanted insight into how we find these fics. There are weird little things that stick.)

Honestly, between 2x22 and this episode, I am convinced that Jughead is always two steps away from proposing to Betty.  Like, half of their interactions just make him think, “God, I want to marry her,” and it’s just a matter of time before he blurts it out in the middle of a (highly competitive) game of scrabble
