✂️ Edward didn’t have any kind of real childhood, regressing helps him regain that. The Boggs family being more than happy to provide it

✂️ he is already very quiet, but even more so when feeling little. Usually motioning (as best as he can with his hands) to try communicate.

✂️ Peg is his caregiver, and she just couldn’t be more delighted to care for his smaller side. Spoiling him rotten with as many toys and comfort objects as she can find.

✂️ He’s very uncoordinated whilst regressed, and much more likely to nick himself with his hands. Luckily an abundance of brightly colored bandaids can always make him feel a little better

How to regress (AGERE)?

🧸 1. Create a Safe Space

Find a private, quiet, and comfortable place.

Use soft lighting, cozy blankets, and items that feel safe.

If you have a caregiver (CG), let them know you're regressing. (If possible! some littles may be nonverbal <3)

🎨 2. Gather Comfort Items (Optional but Helpful)

Stuffies/plushies

Blankets or pacifiers

Sippy cups or bottles

Snacks (like applesauce, juice boxes, goldfish crackers)

Toys, coloring books, or sensory items

🎧 3. Choose Comforting Activities

Watch cartoons or kids’ movies

Color or play with toys

Listen to lullabies or soft music

Nap or cuddle with a stuffed animal

Use kids' apps or games

Talk in a childlike voice if it helps

🫧 4. Let Go of Adult Worries

Try to mentally "put away" responsibilities

Use affirmations like: "I am safe." "I don’t have to worry right now." "It’s okay to be small."

🛑 5. Set Limits

Set a timer if you have things to do later

Avoid regressing in unsafe or inappropriate environments

Practice self-care after regressing — drink water, reflect gently, and ease back into your usual mindset

Optional: Journaling or Memory Triggers

Some find it helpful to keep a regression journal or make a playlist of comforting songs, shows, or smells that help trigger the regressed mindset.

⚠️ Important Notes

Please keep an eye on yourself; keep safe when regressing.

Remind yourself: “It’s okay to need comfort.” There’s no shame in wanting to feel little or cared for.

You don’t have to “act like a child” — regression is about your internal experience, not outward behavior.

Everyone's regression looks different; there is no wrong or right way to regress.

Okay but imagine if agere was completely normal and we had cute videos everywhere. You'd be scrolling on tiktok and you'd find a video like "please watch my little while i do something" and a cg drops their little in front of the camera and goes away. The little plays with the phone for a bit and maybe babbles to it. Or videos like "I was recording and then this happened" and it's the cutest thing you've seen a little do. omg...

Allowing myself to be an angsty teenager again through using healthy outlets has been very helpful. It’s also fun in its own odd way. I don’t care how cringe or dramatic I sound when using creative outlets. Be emo, be scene, be cringe and free but don’t forget to not strictly wallow in self-pity all the time. Feel what you feel, feel misunderstood, but just know there’s some people out there that still care about you even if they can’t understand. Go make that edgy edit, write that sad song, draw that misunderstood and mysterious character of yours.
