Hay there friend! Welcome to the blog dedicated to Cow House Press, a local micro-press based in Chicago, Illinois! We specialize in making comics, zines, limited art books, and puns! We may be animals but trust us: we are experts in our field!
Lemonade Summer’s Kickstarter was a success, but now we’re at the next phase: finalizing the book then sending it off to the printshop so we can send it to all our backers!
We’ll keep working hard and make posts based on our process work while we’re at it!
The Kickstarter for “Lemonade Summer” is done! We have 584 backers and can donate over 190 books thanks to everyone! We are so grateful to you guys for spreading the word and supporting us to the very end!
After we’re done crying our of sheer happiness, we’ll work even harder to deliver the result!
Lemonade Summer has a unique reward tier where not only do you receive a physical copy of the book, but also you can donate a book to an organization of your choice!
It’s one of the major reasons we chose to start our campaign: we want to help schools, public libraries, prisons, youth centers, and other non-profit organizations have access to our book! We strive to make the world a better place by not only contributing to the normalization of queer people in media, but also help queer kids in all communities to see themselves in the books they read too!
