Will's post-fall personal murder-moral-code is something I really enjoy pondering. I've got some fairly detailed thoughts about it, which I'll save for a fic (!) but...

Chilton is just so right about Will. Will likes being smart, likes using his intelligence in a way that also demonstrates it. I think that gets lost sometimes because Hannibal is so clearly deeply-educated, but they're both really smart guys. Will is a good fisherman: he can figure out which bait to use, where to use it most effectively, and how to follow through on the interest he creates with it. I don't think post-fall Will feels the need to save any of that for "bad" people. They don't need to have committed any crime or done anything morally wrong for him to set the bait out for them. For post-fall Will, if someone falls for the bait he sets out that's evidence of their weakness, inferiority, etc. It's a sign that they don't deserve to keep living. Who falls for bait? People who don't think carefully enough, people who are greedy, selfish, and, yes, stupid. Hannibal sees people as pigs. Will sees people as fish. He might be the one who set the bait but it's the fish's fault if it ends up being dinner.

Friendly reminder that Crowley asked Aziraphale to run away with him before and Aziraphale told him that he had something to do (saving Earth), so this isn't new. Aziraphale is selfless by nature, and he will always put the world and other beings before himself. It was just unfortunate that he didn't see how much it hurt Crowley. And it was unfortunate that Crowley didn't understand why Aziraphale had to stay.

As Nina and Maggie said, they'd spent 6,000 years not talking about their feelings. So, it's no wonder that the first time they try to there was a load of miscommunication and things going unsaid.

David Tennant, Michael Sheen AND Neil Gaiman know these characters better than anyone, and I trust them. They've been very vocal about their love for one another.

Crowley and Aziraphale will be together again. They're soulmates. They're ineffable. But they're very bad at communicating with one another about their feelings. And we're all on the journey with them.
