#matches on centre start at 1:30#and matches on no. 1 court start at 1:00#as opposed to all the other courts that start at 11:00#because they have to have the hospitality lunch first. for all the little celebrities#like bro#it’s not surprising that 8.5 hours isn’t enough time if you have a bunch of long matches and have to prepare the court in between#I am very anti-late matches#and what organizers don’t seem to understand is that YOU HAVE TO START MATCHES EARLIER TO PREVENT LATE MATCHES#like the AO made the Round of 128 three days long instead of two days long#in an attempt to reduce late matches by having less matches per day#BUT THEY DIDN’T CHANGE THE START TIMES OF THE MATCHES.#last year you had djokovic playing a 4 hour match and sabalenka getting on court at 11:40 pm#you did not solve anything#this is a very long rant but wimbledon’s undercurrent of elitism should be studied#honestly I want to psychoanalyze all the slams#tennis#wimbledon#wimbledon 2025#atp tennis#wta tennis#atp tour#wta tour
