Abe had read the file of the agent thoroughly and with the upmost interest than normal individuals as this one. The intrigued is there for the simplest of reasons: she is aquatic as he is. Their biology were similar, both unable to securely live on land, monitored and owned by the government and were carefully trained to defend against those who didn't fit in their world controlled by mankind.

At least that's how Abe saw it. There is slight differences and he silently acknowledge the woman might not see eye to eye with their occupations. Details on her upbringing were classified and he couldn't help but wonder if it was because she had no origins to begin with or to keep her family safe. Regardless it was impolite not to make himself known to Nina Mazursky when she arrives with her 'group' at the bureau.
