Echo was Marvel's redemption.
It was a beautiful show from beginning till the end.
But no one will talk about it.
Just like no one talked about Ms. Marvel or Hawkeye.
People will still say post Endgame Marvel is going to hell.
Cause we have another woman hero amongst us.

I love how Matt Murdock is just the Biggest Dilf™️ and you can literally see the chemistry with anyone. Jennifer? Sweet, cute, funny, heart-warming. Foggy? This man is the #1 Matt Murdock apologist and he would jump off a cliff before he lets anything happen to him. Frank? Delicious shit. The chemistry, the parallels. “You [Matt] are what I could’ve been, I [Frank] am what you are afraid to become.” Elektra? Hot as fuck. Invented chemistry. People were converted to bisexuality thanks to them.
But Claire? I am never shutting up about her. I’m unhinged over this woman. This woman who despite the fact that she couldn’t defend herself from many of the people she stood against—people twice her size, people with guns, people who had trained, people with superpowers—never let it stop her from helping others. So she meets this man—this man who acts as though he has to carry the weight of the entire world on his shoulders—and falls in love. But there’s just so much she can take before she walks away.
And I love her for that. People have a habit of framing female characters who act like she does as weak or whatever but that’s not Claire. The scene where she says goodbye to Matt kills me but it’s just so good. You can see she feels for him, but she also realizes that as for now, Matt isn’t the kind of man who’s right for her—the kind of man that he could be—and she lets him go. Same she did with Luke. Because there’s only much she can take.
And I can’t stop thinking about how Clairedevil was the epitome of ‘right person, wrong time’. The Matt who goes to LA and meets Jennifer is a different man, a better man. Jennifer accepts both the man and the hero and I love her for that, but Claire’s problem was never Daredevil but rather the way Matt was so obsessed with his duty as a hero that he couldn’t see past it. I think Claire would love this changed man who has finally found a balance in his life.

Literally all of The Shadowhunter Chronicle romances are completely unhinged it’s not even funny (I lied, it’s very funny). Here’s just some examples:
William “Will” Herondale/James “Jem” Carstairs + Theresa “Tessa” Gray: It totally would have been a vee type polyamorous situation if it wasn’t for all the death and 1800s London society going on.
Henry Branwell + Charlotte Fairchild: How dare this misogynistic society put us together, I mean, we wanted to get together anyway, but not for those reasons. Welp, time to be as unconventional as possible.
Gabriel Lightwood + Cecily Herondale: Look, you made fun of my sister, it’s only fair that I marry your sister; that’s the rules.
Gideon Lightwood + Sophia “Sophie” Collins: Dad, I have a perfectly valid reason to betray you and go to the other side. What your doing is wrong and – nO tHiS haS nOThiNG to do wiTh tHeIR mAid wHy wOUlD yoU eVEn sAy tHat?
Jesse Blackthorn + Lucie Herondale: Your request to not be brought back to life has been denied, deal with it.
James “Jamie” Herondale + Cordelia Carstairs: He didn’t commit arson we were just having sex – why are you all looking at me like that’s worse?
Anna Lightwood + Ariadne Bridgestock: Listen, there’s a lot of society going on right now, so we’re going to have to get together in secret. Oh, you don’t want to? Okay, never mind, fuck society, let me win you back real quick.
Christopher Lightwood + Grace Cartwright: Oh good, you broke into my house, now we can talk about science.
Thomas Lightwood + Alastair Carstairs: I’d really like to hate you, but I think the biggest problem with that is that I love you. Once I get over that hurdle, I think we’ll be in the clear.
Lucian “Luke” Graymark + Jocelyn Fairchild: Good job on us for breaking away from the genocidal cult run by our best friend/husband; we should hook up, you know, as a reward.
Jonathan “Jace” Herondale + Clarissa “Clary” Fairchild: Ayo the same guy conducted experiments on our blood, that’s crazy; btw so glad we’re not actually siblings.
Alexander “Alec” Lightwood + Magnus Bane: Marrying each other is against the law? Okay, fine, I’m a law biding citizen. Oh oops, I made it legal. I am the law now, and I want a wedding on the beach.
Simon Lovelace + Isabelle Lightwood: It makes sense to have our engagement party on the day of my brother’s death, that’s when we really started bonding.
Helen “Alessa” Blackthorn + Aline Penhallow: Well, I guess we’re going to go in exile together. Yes, I said together; your exile is my exile, what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine, that’s how relationships work.
Julian Blackthorn + Emma Carstairs: Yes, it’s a technical war crime to love each other, but the law itself is not really our main concern about it.
Kieran Hunter + Mark “Miach” Blackthorn + Cristina Rosales: We’re really living that cottage core aesthetic, and all we had to do to get here was do a small war and some amnesia. Worth it.
Gwyn ap Nudd + Diana Wrayburn: I’m going to stand by just in case something happens, but it probably won’t, she knows what she’s doing – WHY IS SHE JUMPING OUT THE TENTH STORY WINDOW OH MY GOD WAIT
Tiberius “Ty” Blackthorn + Christopher “Kit” Herondale: We take cosplaying Sherlock and Watson VERY seriously, so of course we needed to go to all the most illegal places, it’s only natural.
Ash Morgenstern + Drusilla “Dru” Blackthorn: So anyway I saw them in a sort of fever dream like state this one time and they’ve still been on my mind for years.

It's all fun and games until the person you are thinking about while listening to Taylor Swift is not a sweet, fictional character from your fake scenarios but a real person. Ring alarm bells, ward off the thoughts, run. You have seen your friends suffer just after these thoughts delusion-ed them.

It seems to me that the Mahalaya morning has some sort of time travelling magic. Every year I wake up at 4 in the morning and somehow for a moment I go back to being a child. The time when I haven't yet learnt about the radio show but I was still as excited. My father used to set a timer on the television so I didn't miss the programs. From accompanying my dad to the ghats for tarpan and sharing coconut water to hanging out with friends and going to Kumortuli. This day always brings something happy for me. It actually wipes of all the darkness even if it is for a day.
Mahalaya
The day we feel the most Nostalgic.
Every year, this day makes every Bangali tear up. Why? Because this day is a remembrance of one's childhood and how one grew up celebrating Mahalaya.
I remember how the excitement in the pit of my stomach felt the night before Mahalaya. I used to be scared. What if I can't wake up on time? What if I fall asleep through it? What if my grandmother doesn't wake me up? But every year, the radio was switched on at 4 a.m. and the story of how Durga was born out of the rage and power of all the Gods and how she defeated Mahishasur was narrated by Birendra Krishna Bhadra and every year, I woke up right on time to listen to all of it.
The feeling of knowing that every single Bangali was listening to the radio all throughout the city of Kolkata was something out of the world. A sense of connection with strangers. A sense of community. A sense of fraternity. A sense of Bondhutto.
Mahalaya is the day when Matripokkho commences. While listening to Birendra Krishna Bhadra's tale of Mahishasur Mardini, you see strength, grace, knowledge, beauty, love and belonging. On these dawns, you perceive the tenderness of power, you understand the ferocity of a Mother.

You run a café on the edge of life and death. Souls who have been departed from their bodies temporarily, such as in comas or near-death experiences, can relax in your quaint cafe for as long as they need before they can either return to their bodies or begin their journey to the afterlife.
