If you are afraid of your gliders getting away outside of your home then use a bonding pouch, or don’t bring them out at all. Leashes are incredibly dangerous to use on your gliders.
If you are to use a leash, and your glider jumps, I don’t see how he could escape unharmed. If you use a harness type leash, the membrane between their arms and legs that they use for gliding will be affected. They are a Potential strangulation hazard.
I’ve seen these leashes and the leash is made of unsafe material and a nail can get stuck.
Gliders are free roamers, and being restricted like that just does not make any sense at all. It would be harmful to your bonding as well I would say.
Late- but Thanksgiving I gave my sugar Gliders some of the Thanksgiving feast! (Tentatively; since I had to make sure nothing they received were things they cannot eat.)
This is my two nomming away~
