Sith Empire Standard Calendar

Okay, I don’t know if this bugged anyone else, but there is no way that the Sith Empire would use the Republic’s calendar.  So, because I need a calendar for my story, I came up with one.  I’m also measuring time in BTC/ATC (Before Treaty of Coruscant/After Treaty of Coruscant) because I can’t with the BBY stuff, either.

Had to change four of the five day names, because they were all named after stuff on or around Coruscant, and given how much the Sith like other Sith, the months are all named after prominent Sith in history.

Dromund Kaas standard year - 312 days Reconstituted Sith Empire founded 1327 BTC

Togruta headcanons that partially fall in line with what @cyareclones also thinks:

- tapetum lucidum, that thing that animals eyes do in the dark when they reflect the light and look like they’re glowing. Generally, Togruta have better night vision than humans.

- they’re big, average 7 ft at the forehead for both males and females

- meso carnivores

- there are upper and lower chambers for montrals, which extend to the base of the skull/top of the lekku. The upper Chambers (the “horns”) pick up on high frequency vibrations, and the lower chambers pick up the low frequency ones

- in moments of complete relaxation, they purr. This is an important milestone for Togruta infants

- Togruta gestation is 10 months, and the likelihood that they’ll have multiples of any kind of exceedingly rare

- Togruta lekku length coincides with stress levels experienced in adolescence, hence Togrutas on the planet of Shili will have shorter lekku due to the stress of the environment and the presence of their natural predator, the akul. Togruta outside this environment (say, like the Jedi Temple) are likely to develop very long lekku and high cresting montrals

- face markings come with similarities and unique family resemblances the way key features like noses or eyes do.

- although they are not prehensile and so aren’t sensitive enough for things like communication, the lekku can still sustain fatal injuries because major blood vessels run through the upper portion of them.

- their body temperatures drop when they sleep and they need to be warmed up to reach full mobility. They are a hot breakfast people.

- More flexibility in the hands and feet

- a Togrutas shoulders and the outer edge of their lekku always perfectly line up. You won’t get a tog that has lekku wider than their shoulders.

Servant One, the Emperor’s Wrath and the Hero of Tython

This line in the fourth paragraph of Servant One’s letter to the Sith Warrior implies that they want the newly minted Emperor’s Wrath to hunt down and slaughter the Hero of Tython and their crew. Implying that this should be a priority ahead of dealing with Malgus at Ilum and so on.

I’m sure there are fanfics out there that have gone into all that, but its never dealt with in the game story.

Ok Baras’ plan would never have worked because I just read the codex and it says no matter who the vessel is, be it a young woman or an old man, the Voice sounds the same. And some of the Dark Council members have spoken to the Voice sooooooooo….

She has no brains for any kind of strategy and is just a rabid dog. Ntm, it's satisfying as FUCK to one up her all of the time as a non-Force user (either by killing more than her [ignoring gameplay] or proving that a non-bloodthirsty option was the best option) and then of course, kicking her fucking ass at the spaceport.

Unpopular Opinion Time

I hate Thana Vesh. I go out of my way to kill her on otherwise 100% light side characters. To me, she just comes across as a childish brat, nowhere near a “badass sith”.

One of the most satisfying kills in the game, really.

So I think I’ve posted about how I think the Jedi Consular gets uber strong through the first chapter. The game says they have to give up some of their power to shield each master, and then after defeating Lord Vivicar/Terrak Morrhage they get it all back. Since there’s no in-game penalty to their health or power, I figured that meant that their strength grew to compensate. Like Force resistance training. So when all the spent power comes back, they’re freakishly strong. It certainly made me think that as far as raw Force power is concerned, the Consular was the strongest class in the game.

But I also have thoughts on Consular’s mirror, the Sith Inquisitor.

By the time they hit chapter 2, the Inquisitor is already pretty strong all on their own. Then they hit the buffet and eat a minimum of 4 whole ass ghosts. Three fully fledged sith lords who were strong enough to warrant their own tombs and one apprentice (who’s probably no slouch in the Force either). Yet when (if) they’re finally dismissed, the Inquisitor doesn’t suddenly go back to their pre-ghost power level. If they had, they wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes on the Dark Council, no matter how clever they were.

The game says that the ghosts’ power adds to the Inquisitor’s, so I see it like a balloon. With each ghost, the Inquisitor’s available power increases and fills the balloon further, stretching it out. When the ghosts are dismissed, the air they added leaves too but the balloon still has that enhanced capacity. And given some time to recover, that balloon can be filled again to what it was before the ghosts left. So it’s similar to the Consular, but the Inquisitor goes about it in almost the exact opposite way. Increasing their capacity through hoarding power instead of giving it away.

But it also makes me think about their power level relative to the Consular.

The Consular sacrificed a chunk of power for each master, and if I remember right they used the shielding technique about 6 times. The Inquisitor got 4 sith ghosts, which is less people, but got way more bang for their buck per person. Getting all of an individual’s power instead of a chunk.

I don’t know how it all balances out, but it makes me wonder if, by the end, the Inquisitor might be stronger than the Consular.

[Of course I believe a jedi/sith’s capacity for using the Force generally increases naturally with time and practice, like any muscle training, and the rate varies for each individual. I’m just saying that both the Consular and the Inquisitor did a damn speedrun on top of that and ended up terrifyingly strong.]
