what are some relationship headcannons you have abiut douxie?

Aaaaaaaa!!! Thanks for the question bab! I appreciate it! Aaaaaa its gonna be hard to answer without the veils of Douxilly in my brain tho so I'm going to try and like kinda divide it into Douxilly headcanons and general Douxie headcanons.

Douxilly:

-Douxie is so so so aware of Illy's well being, both physical and mental. Both because he cares so much about her but also because after learning about her being somewhat isolated in Camelot for 900 years, he tries his best to be aware of a lot of Illy's cues and triggers. He knows that she tends to pull and tug on her hair when she remembers something traumatic or goes through it.

-DOUXIE LOVE LOVE LOVESS laying his head on Illy's lap cause soft squishy thighs his beloved. The best naps come from laying his head on her lap and having her stroke his hair and hum him to sleep.

-Douxie is the one who helps Illy dyes her hair that oh so familiar blue gradient and makes it a whole day for her everytime they have to redye it too. Makes sure she is comfortable and relaxed and is so gentle and careful.

-He LOVES helping Illy make pies together, I can see it being a whole date night for them. Especially since I think one of Douxie's love languages is quality time.

General Douxie:

-One of Douxie's main love languages aside from quality time IS ABSOLUTELY PHYSICAL TOUCH, THAT MAN IS TOUCH STARVED AND WILL reach out for hugs, cuddles and snuggles EVERY CHANCE he gets. Loves to wrap his arms around his significant other whenever he sees them. Will absolutely hug them from behind as a greeting.

-Douxie would put all his romantic thoughts in songs for them absolutely and before getting together with someone would have definitelt filled various notebooks with those songs.

-Douxie probably isn't the best at cooking or anything however, he will definitely bring home pastries from his cafe shifts and will absolutely brew an incredible pot of tea for the two of them to relax and enjoy some tea and pastries together!

It actually pisses me off how whitewashed everyone is in toa because wym Douxie is supposed to be Romani, A group of people that literally come from India, but they put like no effort into making him look Roma so now everyone mistakes him for white. Not to mention i had NO idea Claire was supposed to be Latina when i first saw her or at all for like half of the first season (and this is not to say that Roma and Latina people can't be pale or look white but when it's like every single poc character it stops feeling like a coincidence)

Douxie Headcannons

A/N: I love this little guy sm he's one of my favorites omg omg i love him sm<3 sorry if these r like not the kind of headcannons u were hoping for lol

i think hes pansexual...

i also think that his favorite animals are probably small rodents, or hedgehogs, along with cats, obviously

might be a little sad but i think he as just a wee bit trouble standing up for himself or voicing his feelings. he's used to underestimating himself and having others do it a lot, so yeahh

uses box hair dye to dye his hair. also insanely messy when he dyes is hair, sink, hands, neck, towel, everything he touches is covered in hair dye

hes very good at dealing with emotions and is rather calm most of the time

gets really attached to things quickly, and if something goes wrong, he's quick to think he could've done something to prevent it

he talks with his hands (me too)

would DESPISE 'sybau' with a passion if he were alive in modern days

is either very expressive or shows little to no emotion at all. It depends on the day

would keep taxidermy (ethically sourced, ofc)

cannot STAND loud and repetitive noises

dislikes physical touch and only allows a select few to touch him whenever, or at all

dislikes people who crack their knuckles every ten minutes

loves drawing, and is actually pretty good at it. He does it sometimes whenever he can and feels like it calms him down

has trouble sitting through movies but can read books (mostly fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction) in one sitting
