Hiatus Notice

i haven’t been on amiya in three months, and it’s time to officially declare that this blog is on an indefinite hiatus.

i don’t plan to come back to this blog anytime soon, but it’s probably doubtful i’ll leave amiya forever. at the very least, when i revive katie ( more information about katie’s blog here ) drabbles and discussions about amiya will likely appear, as amiya has a significant role in katie’s life.

thanks to all you beautiful people that have written with me during my on-off time on this blog. i wish you all the best and hope to write with you again sometime in the not-so-distant future!

“…”

“No, it ain’t!”

The disgruntled expression on Rohini’s face because yes, she was awake. Duh! It stayed on her face up until Amiya asked if she wanted to walk back to the apartment. Once Amiya’d asked that, Rohini’s visage slowly lost the frown and she nodded, “’Course, sugar. I’d love to.”

A smile spread over her face when Rohini’s frown disappeared. Whew. (Having Rohini ticked at her for longer than two minutes was probably not good.) Especially when they were trying to get on their feet again, trying to figure out how to make this relationship work when the memories of carnage still lurked in the back of their minds.

“Good. Er - there’s a nice path that leads back a couple streets over. I found it on a walk one day and - I mean if you don’t want to go that way it’s fine - ” Dear gods, why was she so easily flustered?

“Will do,” Lou told Amiya.

The little blonde girl knew that Amiya could be fun, hell, she hung out with her older (half) sister! And yeah, of course Lou Ellen would be fine on her own, even though being on one’s own? Quite boring. And not something she liked.

“Again, will do.”

“Good,” Amiya responded, hoisting up her own basket.

Hmm. Lou Ellen looked like she had the potential to get antsy in the strawberry fields, and Amiya'd rather she not try sending magical messages to her friends across the field. (Not that Amiya knew what Lou’s magical specialty was but anyways.)

“If you want some company at any point, let me know. Or you can head over to Katie and Miranda - but only if you’re not going to distract them. And try to get a start on this section first, alright?”

My Opinion on;

Character in general: I love Demeter’s Outcast. And so does Rohini. The fact that she’s Indian was very intriguing to me. A Greek demigoddess with Indian roots. How would that play out? I also feel sorry for Amiya because she wanted to better the world, wanted to do right by her siblings and look where it got her: six feet under.How they play them: In my head, Amiya Chavan is canon.The Mun: is one of the nicest persons I know! She’s always there if you need someone to talk to. Warm and friendly and mega talented, I am of the opinion that we all need a little more of Amiya-mun in our lives. Ily girl.

Our ship happened without prior plotting. Amiya, however, was fairly amused at her disgruntled expression. Rohini was usually the one startling Amiya ( that’s what you get when your girlfriend can do magic ), and it was time to turn the tables. Hence the...erm...bouquet whacking.

Amiya would have to work on the creativity bit.

“One - since I can’t make things magically float, so this counts as second best. And two - I was checking to see if you were awake. I thought you were zoning out there for a while. Do you not - I mean...uh...do you want to go back to the apartment?” Amiya tried to hide her uncertainty - maybe ‘romantic stoll through the woods’ was only a thing in the movies?
