This crazy eyed minion fire hydrant is probably my favorite illustration to date... not because of the quality of talent necessary, but because every single time Miah & I walk by a damn fire hydrant he says "Dad, take my picture with the minion!" #makestuff

Every once in awhile you'll FIND an opportunity to "get in where you fit in" I was walking through the open space at @galvanizehq & saw a dude wearing a hat & shirt with the same brand that was wrapped on a truck in the parking lot. He was sitting alone, deep into his hustle before the schedule got rollin on day 2 of #MDITD in June. I walked up to him, introduced myself & made it apparent that I made the logo for #MDITD. We chatted for a few minutes, exchanged business cards, and followed up later to meet again. @roopedogg & myself have very similar views of our industry, & we agree on certain ways to disrupt this space. This is just the beginning of the story, but John invited me to take the role of Creative Director with @WIDSIX. Go out today & pave your way! Introduce yourself to everyone. Be bold. Speak about yourself with respect. Honor your craft.

Here's my icon for the day. It's a #7 that I made out of a bunch of rectangles. I'm a #type7. My favorite bball player wore this number with these colors. My dads favorite number was 7. Cheers.
