Be honest, when you watch the olympics, who do you root for? When you think of âthe bestâ country, do you automatically think of your own? If you said yes to any of those things, there is a reason, it is you ânational identityâ!Â
Check out more about what a national identity is, in this video!

All this talk about Bruno Mars being a âcultural appropriatorâ had me really thinking about that phrase, and what it really means,...so I looked it up. Comes to find out, that according to the actual meaning of the word, in order for it to be appropriation, you have to be claiming to have created whatever it is that is question.Â
Here is a direct quote from Bruno Mars:
"When you say âblack music, understand that you are talking about rock, jazz, R&B, reggae, funk, doo-wop, hip-hop, and Motown. Black people created it all. Being Puerto Rican, even salsa music stems back to the Motherland [Africa]. So, in my world, black music means everything. Itâs what gives America its swag."
Not only does Bruno Mars NOT claim to be the creator of anything, but he also gives the culture that created all of these music forms, the highest possible praise, he says âBlack people created it ALLâ(in reference to music).
So we not continue to call him an appropriator, because by definition, he is not.Â
It is understandable why black people have to be so protective about the things the culture creates. In a society where you FEEL that you have little power and/or say so, when the things you DO have power over(creativity and artistic creation) are stolen and given to a culture that has historically reaped way more societal benefit and privilege, it can be hella frustrating, and in some cases even disheartening.Â
After all, it happened with country music, rock, punk, the industry/media has currently been trying it with things like hair styles(and other black aesthetic details), hip-hop(music and dance). The most famous example is Elvis Presley. It is a well known fact that he stole many songs from relatively unknown black blues musicians, and passed them off as his own. âYou ainât nothing but a hound dogâ is an example of that. Now, even though black people created the sound of rock and roll, it is thought of by most as a white creation. Elvis gets called the âking of rock and rollâ, when he really isnât the king of shit but stealing.Â
So, itâs no wonder black people HAVE to be so protective over the cultures creations, because if we look up, the industry will have stolen it, given it to a white artist after white artist, while simultaneously trying to remove the culture that created it from the equation. Bruno Mars is not in this category though, he is a fellow âperson of colorâ, mixed with two nationalities that have direct african heritage. bruno is a carribean brotha and his album was GREAT. Half the songs on there were hit singles, and though he did recreate sounds that black people created, he does so with respect, honor and humility. Our beef is with the industry that does this that we feel we have to be so defensive of, not with Bruno Mars.

The only mentality I will ever have about "Systematic Oppression" and racism.
#Depth
How would you feel if 100 people were outside of your house, with guns, waiting to shoot the hell out of you as soon as you tried to leave or make moves outside of your home. You might be a liiiittle afraid huh? Maybe get on your phone and call SOMEONE for SOME sort of help.
What if those same people were outside, but you had on an an iron man suit. You probably wouldnât give damn who was outside because you know that with your iron man suit on, you are invincible to a bullet. No matter how many people were outside waiting to destroy you, you would not be afraid because you would know that with that iron man suit on, youâre power would greatly outweigh thereâs.
So,
Sytematic racism and oppression are like 100 people waiting outside of your house to destroy you. Your mentality, your mind, is your iron man suit.
You have to first recognize your power in order to understand that no matter how many people, or how many systems you perceive to be against you, they can have no power over you, other than the power YOU GIVE THEM over you.
As a black man, I realize that before I am a black man, I am a man first. As a man, I realize that before I am a man, I am a human being first. As as human being, I realize that before I am a human being, I am a soul/spirit/consciousness/energy (or whatever adjective you want to use) first, and that we are all aspects or parts of the same one creation/creator.
As consciousness, we all have the same free will. We all have the same ability to manifest our own destinies and realities. Thatâs FACT. No-one has inherently more power or control over you then YOU. In fact, the only control a person can have over you is that control that you give them. I know that if one sets their mind to have, be or do something, there is literally NOTHING OR NO-ONE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN STOP YOU, no matter what color your skin is and no matter what system had been set up with the intention to stop you. You will achieve that goal as long s you stay focused on it and believe it will happen. Every time we take our attention away from that goal, we allow ourselves to get dsitracted and therefore, allow people to stop you from reaching those goals. Keep in mind that what we focus our thoughts, mind, attention, and energy on, is what we will amplify, attract to ourselves, and create more of within our individual realities. The more people that do that, then it becomes the collective reality and everyone experiences it.
It is foolish and senseless to fight AGAINST a system. It is misguided to constantly focus your mind and energy on the reality that you donât prefer more than you actually focus on the reality you say you DO prefer. In focusing more on the problems more than the solutions, not only will you attract MORE of the problems to yourself and amplify that in your consciousness, but you also cannot focus on both realities at the same time, so it will be a distraction and diversion away from the reality you want.
So as âblackâ people, everytime we say âlook how the system is out to kill usâ. You have just thought and spoken that reality into existence even more. You will attract more of that reality to yourself. Everytime you teach your kids that âthey will have hard livesâ because they black, you have just thought and spoken that reality into existence even more. You will attract more of that reality to yourself. AND, you have just taught your kids to have that same mentality.
We get making people âawareâ, but thatâs the slow way to approach it. The fast way is to focus on building a system that will make the old obsolete. That way you donât have to fight the system. You work towards a new one and the old will diminish. Its all in the approach.
Itâs 2016 now. What approach are you going to take this year?
Love, peace and increase

#Depth All the truth there ever was ALREADY EXISTS. All knowledge exists RIGHT NOW!!! All possibilities for anything and everything exist right now, in this present moment.... Thoughts do not come FROM us( by us I mean our physical minds) they come THROUGH us. However, they already exist in the non-physical. The energy of those ideas already exist. They already exist in the mental plane, the plane of thought or what quantum physicists call the realm of quantum possibilities. Just because something doesn't exist yet in the physical doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Microwaves don't exist as a "PHYSICAL" thing yet the results we see from microwaves can be very physical. The same can be said for thoughts. Why do I say this? Think about this: The ability to create an airplane always existed, the knowledge and science of how to do so has always been. The wright brothers simply tuned into that possibility and followed through with action on how to bring that idea into the physical. The idea of how to create the internet has always existed long before the internet was actually ever discovered and utilized by us. So they did not CREATE these ideas but more so received them and [re]created them by bringing them into the physical world or what most just call reality. So all we (as physical beings) do is "tune in" to the frequency in which we can receive specific thoughts of whatever it is we desire, or in some cases DON'T desire. Much in the same way a radio tunes in to specific information and brings it into the physical by simply turning a knob and tuning into the specific FREQUENCY needed to receive whatever information/station you desire. So how do we tune into this infinite reservoire of thought energy? With belief Belief keeps your mind open to receive the knowledge of how to be, do, or have ANYTHING you could possibly ever want. After all it would be super hard to receice inspiration or intuition about something that you don't even believe is possible. So just BELIEVE in anything you want in life. If you see it and believe it you can achieve it and there is NOTHING in this world that can stop you. Except for yourself of course đđ And when you reach your goal.... Don't forget to hit me 10% as your manager for sharing this message lol. Jk...unless you gone do it.

#Depth "What is Canola Oil? Back in the day, an oil called rapeseed oil was often used for industrial purposes. It was cheap to produce, but people couldnât eat it because it contained some unfavorable substances: Erucic acid: a fatty acid that caused heart damage in some rat studies (1). Glucosinolates: bitter compounds that made the oil taste bad (2). A bunch of Canadian scientists wanted to turn rapeseed oil into an edible oil, so they used selective breeding techniques to âcreateâ seeds that contained less of these harmful, bitter substances. This is how canola was born⊠but âCanolaâ is a marketing term. It stands for Canadian Oil (some believe it stands for Canada Oil, Low Acid). Canola is actually not a unique plant. Itâs just a name for rapeseeds that have been bred to be low in these undesirable compounds. Since the year 1995, biotech giant Monsanto has manufactured rapeseeds that are genetically engineered to be resistant to the herbicide RoundUp. Today, about 90% of the worldâs canola crop is genetically modified." http://authoritynutrition.com/canola-oil-good-or-bad/ http://foodbabe.com/2015/02/04/cooking-oils/ Canola is a hybrid of rapeseed. Rapeseed oil is a major neurotoxin. Canola oil has "only" 5% - 6% of the neurotoxin of rapeseed oil. Canadian canola growers got crooked US politicians to change the law in USA to allow canola oil to be used as human food. Before that it wasn't allowed for human consumption. Rapeseed oil was only used for oiling machinery. Avoid both oils like the plague. http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=567531.5;wap2

#Dopeness Some people are against the advancement/hybridization of the old with the new, traditional with modern technology, analog with digital. I think we are in an age of newness right now and as long as we keep the knowledge and essence of the old we can incorporate the new to get something amazing!!! How do you all think things like this will effect music?

#Depth The law of duality. EVERY relative thing has a polar opposite, an equal but opposite effect. If there is a negative there is a positive. Ying-Yang, Bad-Good, Wrong-Right, Negative-Positive, Up-Down, They balance each other out. They are opposite ends of the spectrum of the same ONE energy. One can only exist in relation to the other and thatâs the beauty of contrast. For example: How could one know what bad is if they had no idea what good was. What would light be if there were no darkness to compare it to. Could one understand what right was if they didn't understand what wrong was? There would be no good if there were no such thing as bad,⊠it would just BE. We can even test that with with the physical things around us. Electricity needs a positive and negative charge. Electronics need an output and input. Every atom is made up of a proton and electron (with a nucleus in the middle). So since perspective is everything, letâs add perspective to that duality. Every room has a door that is an entrance when youâre outside of it, but once your inside that room that entrance now becomes an exit. Same door but it transforms DEPENDING ON PERSPECTIVE. Everything transforms depending on perspective. Likewise EVERY situation, every idea, every person, place, thing or situation also has a duality, two sides. Just like that door can transform from an entrance to an exit, depending on what perspective youâre viewing it from, you can also change the effect of any person, place thing or sitaution by choosing which side or perspective of the duality you will focus on. If we focus on the negative or undesirable side, we will get a negative or undesirable effect. If we focus on the positive or desirable side we will get a positve on desirable effect. In between those two opposites is the center point, ground zero, the nucleus. In the middle of all the motion there is a stillness. This stillness is called PEACE. That is where we observe what we [re] create and make the choice which side of the duality you will focus on. One is neither good nor bad because we add those connotations based on our belief systems and past experiences. However, one is progressive(positive) and one is degressive or stagnant(negative). One will unite and evolve us(positive) and one will seperate and set us back(negative). The positive will always be the one that is integrative, the higher vibration, the love, expanding back to the wholeness of creation. The negative is always be segregative, lower vibration, the fear, contracting to seperation. It is always, always, always a choice which perspective we will look at it from. The one that we choose to focus our mind, intent and energy on is the one that we will attract and align ourselves with more of. Now this does not mean âliving with your head in the cloudsâ but rather choosing whether you will act in peace or something else. We can still act towards change. Work towards the reality that we prefer and correct the things that arenât right in the world but when we do it from a state of peace we are so much more effective.

#Depth On the subject of RELIGION (and the physical minds need to label or categorize its beliefs) . . Truth is universal. Truth is eternal. Truth has always existed(way before any of these modern day religions) and will always exist. God/ the creator/the universe IS all truth, so the more truth we are able to become aware of the closer we become to God. Truth gets us closer to the creator. Sometimes we like to seperate ourselves and label the way we receive knowledge and truth with this thing called religions. A religion is just ONE set of doctrine or belief systems that we use to govern the way we see reality. We base our concepts and ideas of what we consider right or wrong, good or evil, righteous or unjust off of this ONE set off of whichever religion we subscribe to. Those ideas BECOME our ideas and we adopt the as our own. Muslims believe their doctrine is the highest truth, Christians believe their truth is the highest truth, each one believing that because theirs is the highest truth, therefore seeing any other beliefs that don't fit within their doctrine as a lower truth, not as valid, not as relevant. Sometimes we see those ideas as false all together simply because they don't fit our preconceived beliefs. Ego is strengthened and now noones truth is a right as yours because your religious book says so and you believe it. THIS is the cause of so much division between humanity via religion and other types of labeling. Sometimes we see those ideas as false all together simply because they don't fit our preconceived beliefs. This is a conservative mentality though. If we are meant to grow mentally and spiritually, meant to expand our consciousness and wisdom and become more in tune with the creator then our minds have to be open to receiving ALL truths whether it be from another religious book, or another person or a book or YouTube or whatever else the creator may use to speak to us through. Even truths that may not be in alignment with what we initially believed to be true. So not to say that religions are bad. If you receive them in a good way then they are good for YOU and YOUR journey and YOUR purpose. However if you choose to only believe in one set of beliefs then you miss the beauty of all the other truths that are real and true and are not a part of that book(that ever religion follows). You can also just choose to be a truth seeker and take the truths as they come to you using your intuition and sense of discernment to decipher what is wrong from what is right. Also choosing to walk in love and light and unity. When we calm down the flesh, when we calm down the physical ego mind and just tune into the God within we will know what is true and what is not for us. We will know what is progressive and what is not. If we choose to just be truth seekers then there is no need to label ourselves or constrict ourselves to just one frame of thought or one (religious) book or one guru or teacher. We especially won't limit ourselves to ONE idea of what God or the creator is. After all Jesus taught us truth he taught us the progressive and best way to live, Buddha taught us the progressive way and best way to live, so did Muhammad, so did many other enlightened beings that have come before us. However they NEVER said "worship me" or "my truth is the only truth". Man did that and maybe thats why it has created so much division within humanity. People are now starting to wake up to the fact that the creator is the creator. No matter what we call the creator, whether it be God, the universe, source energy, the quantum field or anything else, they are all simply words that represent one idea. That idea is that there is a highest level of consciousness in creation and we are all a part of. And within that consciousness and that consciousness is within us and therefore a part of us, creating an eternal connection. That highest consciousness is love and maybe this is why every religious book still preaches love as its basis. So what need so we have to label ourselves if we simply always act in love, treat others with love and empathy and seek truth?
