[Day 5] Here is a Thai Culture when it comes to drink in a local restaurant. They serve you with empty glasses and ice cubes in a small bucket. Normally, you need to put the ice and pour the water to the glass by yourself. However, if you eat in a fancy restaurant, the waiters may do it for you. I don't think there's a polite rule of who is the one who should 'arrange' the drinks for everyone in the table (like the younger one or so), anyone can volunteer on this act and it's a really nice culture. Personally, I think it kinda represents that you also care with other people by a simple thing such as serving the drink. Oh yeah, I also notice that Thai people usually only drink water or coke when they are eating. It's rare to see them drinking tea or other drinks while eating. NB : I'm not allowed to post about him anymore, and I do feel better. Thus, I will use this account to store my memories and good things only (I try to) #thailand #thaiculture #agirlonacouch #myjourney #mymoment #drink #storytelling https://www.instagram.com/p/BwgnPGHj1Se/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4eg8torrdn6

He Said, "You Are Never Happy"
When I grow older, I realize that I'm really a social creature. I always need someone's presence just to feel "not empty".
However, at some point I realize that I had become so needy. When you are close with someone, whether they are your bestfriend or your bf/gr, you want to keep communicate in certain ways with them.
Let's say this desire for me had become unhealthy. If he forgets to send me messages, I can be so sentimental and unhappy. It's not that I'm mad because I know he's busy too and probably he needs some privacy.
I'm just sad to the point I really need to hear something from him as if I can't live happily without him. Maybe you'll expect this thing to happen to someone who is madly in love in romantic movies. However, I don't think that's my condition now because my logic told me that I should be fine. It's not like he's gone or something (or maybe yes), but that doesnt matter.
I was happy before I met him, so why would it be so hard to be happy now. Last night, when I played pretend that I'm mad like I usually do, he told me "Yeah, you are never happy". I didnt know how to process that. Maybe he's tired because I'm just so childish or he's just kidding like he usually does.
The more I think about it, the more it sadden me. Yeah, it's not that I'm not happy, but maybe I just feel empty. Moreover, the more I play pretend to be mad when I dont like something he did, the deeper I'm trapped into my own play. The more I say it, the more it becomes a reality.
I dont really have a clear idea about what should I do now. But maybe start every day by saying something posstive! I should care less about someone's presence. I need to find a way to be happy even if I'm alone. At the end of the day, I will be alone anyway. Doesnt matter what will we become. I hope he's happy too and we both can be happy no matter what the future may hold. ☺☺☺☺
In the future, I wont ever let him say"You Are Never Happy". No, I wont be mad at him. I will just change my attitude and leave no room for him to say so ☺☺☺☺. It's hard but nothing is impossible. And if someone read this, wish you have a nice day!. Let's be happy together 😊.
Sincerely,
😼

[Making of Meriam Bamboo in South Kalimantan] Meriam bambu is a traditional play in Indonesia and some of other asian countries. This year, I got the opportunity to see how kids in south kalimantan make meriam bambu while Im on my social project. I was mesmerized by how good those kids in handling saws and knifes. I kept telling them to be careful, but thankfully they’re so much more like a pro than me.😄😄😄 This are some wonderful documentaries on how badass the kids that I met in South Kalimantan, haha…

Being on a social project in a rural area. Following the kids around to cut some bamboos for a traditional play. It was awesome bamboo trees at first untill I got closer to the riverside. One of the kids told me, the plastics that people threw in the river got stuck in the bamboos when it's flooding. Sadly, this is just how human's bad behaviors affect (possibly) every living things on earth.

No Signal, More Alive
It was holiday and my family went to an Island. This Island is kinda isolated. You can only enjoy 12 hours a day electricity, no signal, and the temperature was about 34 degree Celsius days and nights.
For me who like to read everything through my cellphone, it seemed to be hard and boring at first. The reality is it  just turned out amazing. The lack of electricity made it hard to keep your cellphone alive. Almost no online entertainment, no online games, and less social media (some people were still trying hard to update tho, hoho). That condition forced you to talk to whoever around, and tried to abandoned the awkward situation.
It can’t be denied that almost everybody this day are just closer in cyber than reality. When people have no topic to start a conversation, they look at their phone and all the awkward moment suddenly disappear.  I could not do that at the time when everybody knew there are only black screen on my phone.  Sometimes I tried to ask a question to start a conversation or I just kept silent and enjoyed the quite moment.  Sat down and looked at the scenery for hours was not bad. Watching how people interact was nice. I saw little boys caught crabs/snails. I did not even bother to take as many pictures as I could. Now, I’m not even sure whether I like this part or not. Honestly, I’m a little proud of myself who chose to enjoy the scenery than being obsessed of taking my picture of this beautiful views. On the other side, it feels like I have less documentary.
The best moment was the diving part. It was fantastic because the day was shiny, and I have to walk through the winding road and crossed the slippery rock area to reach the diving spot. My mother gave up halfway, haha. I saw many colorful fishes and corals. I was mesmerized and I wish that I could swim better or being a mermaid for a day. Some of my family members who traveled surrounding the island using boat even had a chance to meet dolphins. Wish that I’m lucky to see them next time.

Harmoni Inklusi
Harmoni inklusi (harmony and inclusion) is a seminar that brought up inclusion issues in order to live in harmony. I felt so lucky that I have a chance to participate in this event as a committee. This is one of the best, inspirational, heart-warming, and absolutely hectic experiences. Maybe the best part was when I had the opportunity to do the speakers brief. They were so humble, funny, and incredibly friendly to me. This event had taught me many things, especially life values. The speakers were really inspirational and they had opened my mind about another world I’ve never been. The speakers were: Mr. Panji Surya Sahetapy (Deaf), Mrs. Mimi Mariani Lusli (Blind), and Mr. Habibie Afsyah (muscular dytrophy).

The seminars talked about their journey to accept their disability and proudly face the world. They told their funny stories and also sad moments. Everything was just so emotionally mixed up since the beginning when a group of child with different kinds of disabilities entertained the audience with their golden voices and angklung (Indonesia’s traditional musical instrument). Someone told me that some committees were crying during the opening. Sadly, I didn’t really put attention to the opening as I was busy organizing things that had a little problem at the backstage.

Moreover, this event is not only giving me the opportunity to meet a great people like them. It also gave me many new friends, unforgettable experience, and spirit to always do my best in every condition. Thank you so much Harmoni Inklusi and all of the people involved.

Weekly Sharing GE#1
Lately, I joined a community named GE (Gama Earth). Actually Gama Earth is an abbreviation from Epicenter of Appropriate and Renewable Technology for Humanity.
GE was planning to do waste treatment project for tannery wastewater. Unfortunately, it did not turned up well because of some problems in finding tannery wastewater. Now, we are planning to do some researches about chimney. Hope we will success this time :)
Besides, GE also has a weekly meeting to discuss about many things (mostly about technology) and sharing ideas. This is the documentation of my first presented weekly meeting. We are discussing about Falcon 9 achievements, its controversial landing back to earth and landing in drone-ship. We shared so many things as the impact of those landing.
Moreover, we are also discussing about the possibility of waste disposal to the sun and space debris. At the end, we are agree that disposing waste to the sun is the last solution to waste problems as the researches about waste treatment to generate energy keep growing so fast.
