I remember a reed900 fic I read, where Gavin was so stressed and lost in his head when they were on a crime scene that he almost jumped out from the tower to the water below before nines stopped him, but for the life of me I can't find it again, can you help me please? :(

Hi, I need your follower’s help to find a fic! I am literally struggling so hard RN to find it. I don’t remember a ton but I remember there being a bomb that goes off, and I think it is Gavin and RK900? It is like a really slow burn Enemies to Friends to Lovers. It has like, multiple parts on AO3. I think Gavin drives RK to Elijah and like demands Eljiah’s help. Sorry for the random message, I am just really struggling to find this fic! Any help would be appreciated.

Recently completed Reed900 fic I loved

Hi everyone sorry I’m mostly inactive here now but I’m seeing a lot of people reblogging my reed900 recs so I’d like to rec a reed900 fic that was just completed:

Beyond All Towers (series) by cato_universe; E  - post canon/canon divergent; Since he was awoken by Connor in the basement of CyberLife Tower, Nines' life has been a series of locked rooms. He's excited to be finally free, but soon finds out something's wrong with him-- he cannot emote, and his lack of social protocols mean both people and androids are afraid of him. Lost, lonely, and without a place in the world, his only joy is to feed the stray cats in the alley next to his apartment. There is a mysterious person that Nines has never seen that feeds the cats as well, and Nines wishes to meet them-- perhaps then he'd finally have a friend.

I cannot give this series (comprised of 2 long fics) enough praise! It's so good, especially if you like reading slow, comfort fics! Cats, libraries, hurt/comfort, and reed900

Hey does anyone know what happen to mint condition itsdefinitive? It looks like they deleted the fic, their ao3 account, and their tumblr account???

I’m not sure. I knew they had stopped updating the fic a few months ago and assumed that they had moved on from dbh fandom, but I didn’t realize all the accounts had disappeared. I don’t remember noticing anything extremely concerning for their well-being though before all this. Although mint condition was my favorite reed900 fic and it makes me sad and I’m sure many of you, I try to respect authors’ choices to take fics down for whatever reason.

Of course if anyone knows of them being in a situation where they want and need help, feel free to mention that. However, if they’ve truly stepped away, then I think we should respect that.

And I think this is a good time to mention that if any of you are fic authors who are thinking about taking down a fic, you might want to consider orphaning it (where you will no longer be listed as author but readers can still access the fic) or adding it to the anon collection (where the author will appear as “anon” but you will still be able to follow stats). But if a fic or stress or a fandom is weighing you down, then sometimes deleting the fic is the best thing for you and that’s okay <3

Hi guys! Long time, no see! Sorry I haven’t been around; it’s just been a really busy summer for me. I definitely have enough fics saved up for both hankcon and reed900 rec lists, I’ve just got to type them up. i'm out on the edge by @someonefromthere; not rated - hanahaki disease; I'm also a sap for hanahaki fics!  Nines has hanahaki and doesn't know how to deal with it.  So good!

Vulpecula by Skysquid22; T - post canon;  Much fluff!  Nines explores all of Gavin's scars.

In the Practice of Tolerance by  liliwick_the_WORD ; not rated - post canon, slow burn, wip; super slow burn!  I love it!

red signs (do not cross) by WinchesterBurger; not rated - hurt/comfort; Agh ;A; another hurt/comfort, I love this one so much!

Heliotrope by cato_universe; T - flower AU, soulmate AU; This one is beautiful!  Every human has flowers on their skin but Gavin.

Proximity by cato_universe; T - post canon, touch starved; touch starved Nines, do I need to say any more?  This fic is incredibly soft <3

O May I Join the Choir Invisible by @banishfics ; M - prison AU, wip; Gavin and Nines become the world's cutest prison couple (this is my sarcastic voice)  This fic is extremely good and has both cute and serious moments.  Highly recommend!

A Dozen Reasons to Quit by HeyMurphy; M - hurt/comfort; Gavin is sick; RK900 helps. alsdjflsjf really love this fic, so soft, much good

You spin me right round, baby by @missmho; M - post canon; RK900 trys to learn Connor's coin trick. - Five times Gavin hated his partner’s damned coin tricks and one time he liked it too much. -

birch and pine trees, georgia o'keefe by s0fthope; M - post canon, hurt/comfort; after over a year, in a regular apartment, in a regular routine, nine finally begins to feel normal. this is good. this is fine. work is good. he feels fine. but, there's something else, an itch he can't seem to scratch, that's been bothering him. a quick look into system logs would probably solve the problem, right? -  This fic is so beautiful!!! Highly recommend!

Compatibility by @connorandroidfbi; M - post canon; This fic is so good! Great concept!!  What if there was someone made exactly for Gavin?

Opportunity by Cranksta; E - omegaverse; So good!  Very emotional omegaverse fic with a lot of feels!

All in Place by Larry_Metal; E - post canon, hurt/comfort; Nines was injured on a case protecting Gavin. Gavin just wants to take care of his partner for the night. - soft!!

Bad Decisions by tristinai; E - organized crime/gangster AU; AHHH!  This series is soo good!  So many feels!  They love each other so much T-T
