I can't wait for the lilacs to finally bloom here in Sweden, in the meanwhile I'll just have to make do with painting them. Also I recently watched Suzume so I was in the mood to paint something pretty.

More cow art from earlier this year, this painting is of a Hereford cow. I remember seeing a lot of Herefords when I lived in NZ so painting them has a nostalgic vibe for me.

Swainthorpe is a village in the county of Norfolk. The painting was originally purchased for £150 in 1908.

That art is lovely! I feel flattered by association. I hadn't heard of the book or Susan Jeffers before, so thank you for bringing her beautiful art to my attention.

Playing around with something a bit more fanciful with this painting. The inspiration came from thinking about how cute it would be if there were tiny horses roaming wild.
