Is Oardivian biology different compared to Cybertronians? Like their sparks or how they filter things?

I have a post briefly discussing the difference between Oardivian and Cybertronian sparks, and they do have an additional system that filters and stores salt from the energon they consume.

Do the tattoos on Oardivians such as Cutlass have a major cultural significance? I’ve been working on an Oardivian oc for a while now and it suddenly hit me that it might be something of importance. Not sure tho so I just wanted to ask

Cutlass’ tattoos, particularly the specific shark tooth, partly symbolize her gang and her position as leader.

But mostly they’re just for looks.
