Crowley Facts Part 2 of 21: Book 1 and Teamwork (pt1)

Crowley encourages Ace to challenge Riddle to a duel for the Housewarden position in favor of the "burdensome process" of transferring out of Heartslabyul, and seems to enjoy Riddle's display of strength.

Crowley does not appear to physically or magically intervene in Riddle's overblot (or his attempt to kill Ace), only shouting at him to stop from the sidelines.

Ace, Deuce, Grim, Trey, Cater and the prefect ignore orders to gather the other housewardens and faculty, and Crowley evacuates the students of Heartslabyul ("The well-being of my students is my top priority") rather than join the battle against the overblotting Riddle.

It is unclear when exactly Crowley returned, but he is present for Riddle regaining consciousness.

Crowley joins Trey in escorting Riddle to the school nurse, saying, "Compromise is a beautiful thing" in response to Ace begrudgingly agreeing to forgive Riddle.

Crowley seems to greatly enjoy when the students manage to work together towards a common goal: he begins to weep after hearing about Deuce, Ace, Grim and the prefect working together to defeat a monster in the prologue, saying he has been moved beyond words.

He encourages the students to bond, learn the meaning of collaborative spirit and says that the thought of the Port Fest team working to put on a show is enough to bring tears to his eyes.

He is similarly pleased with the outcome of Vargas Camp, saying that the camp achieved its intent with the students growing as individuals.

Crowley is often trying to get the students to work together:

When Crowley declares that they should all work together to take back the missing magestone during Fairy Gala Idia observes, "Here we go with the same old story--a self-important grown-up dumping unpleasant work on his students."

Riddle and Vil agree with Idia, saying it is not their job--it is Crowley's--leading Crowley to force their participation by threatening to hold the entire student body back a year.

"Let's all work to overcome this adversity...TOGETHER!"
