Disney Friends!

Who can give me some info on the extra parking in Downtown Disney in Orlando? We'll be going for dinner next Wednesday, and I'm taking people who have never been before. I know the parking is a nightmare right now, it was a few months back when I went. But I wanted to know if there was any good parking across the street near Rainforest, or something moderately convenient. Thanks so much in advance!!
