Personally, Idk if Davepeta’s components identifying as nb or genderfluid BECAUSE of the two of them being fused for a while makes sense to me. I can’t help but think that it doesn’t work that way.

as an enby I don't like davepetasprite as representation because they're only nonbinary because they're a fusion between a binary man and a binary woman. that said if davesprite and nepetasprite unfused and both were still nonbinary I think that would be very based and cool

Personally, I don't care too much about representation in canon or semi-canon Homestuck media. If I want diverse characters, I'll make them myself. Like I said earlier, putting trans rep into Homestuck is very messy at best and problematic at worst, and that includes nonbinary rep. You'll always end up with at least one nasty stereotype. Best stick to OCs for this one.

That said, Davepeta's components becoming nonbinary or specifically genderfluid if they ever separated might make sense since they've been stuck together for so long. This didn't happen to Tavris because they exploded almost immediately due to iRRECONCILA8LE differences, so the most they traded and utilized was some of each other's personality quirks.

You guys are getting the Anna Hottenmeyer brainblast because shes a favorite of mine.

She lost her parents in a cave-in and it freaking motivated her so much that she Presumably: - Enrolled and fought tooth and nail through the Drill Academy to rank high enough to graduate somewhat quickly - Took up learning Japanese(?? presumably needed for the Drill Academy, she seems to speak English on top of German as well??) - Force her way into Susumu's life with a motivation to surpass him, who seems like a prodigy, so that she can make things *safer* so that people do not fall victim to the fate of her parents.

like DANG. AUGH and I bet when she sees Ataru, a guy who refuses to forgive his father, it makes her so mad. 'You don't know what you have until its gone' type beat.

I wonder if it frustrates her how easy everything seemingly comes to Susumu.
