SLATE NAUTILUS (RASA TESTA)

"When travelling the great plains of the Shale Flats, a common sight to see would be a herd of Slate Nautilus on the horizon. These gentle beasts traverse the stone, hovering a few feet above the rocky ground, searching for food. 

When they sense some nearby, they use a mix of their hulking limbs and innate telekenisis to rip up the earth and scrounge for roots, grasses, and anything they might find. 

If you find yourself suddenly surrounded by a  hovering herd, don't panic! Act calm, especially if calves are present, and show them you are no threat to them. The gentle stone titans are very unlikely to hurt you, and are in fact known to take in lost wanderers upon their great shells, even sharing food and water with their companions.

Who knew such a thick shell could hide such a sweet interior."

After the gooze’s striking impact on Falbheim and its surroundings, Tisdor Dwindleteeth III further indulged in his vile research. The snooze was the succeeding result of his advanced experiments in slime and slither – not as evil as the previous invention but still quite chaotic in nature. It is said that the creature’s peculiar substance helped Tisdor Dwindleteeth III to literally snooze his otherwise sleepless nights away. Eventually, however, the slimy snake was set free as well – like all of his abominations either by cruel intention, sloppy carelessness or because the eccentric necromancer actually cared about his creatures and wanted them to thrive.
