Honestly? I think The Sims 4 community's gotten downright toxic... Since day one of playing this game, I've seen it people straight up disrespecting creators' work. Unauthorized re uploads? Reselling mods for profit? It's insane. I'm not sure how bad it is overseas, but I know it exists (seems like most hate permanent paywalls though?). The situation's especially wild here. Search #TheSims4 on Xiaohongshu and you'll find endless repost accounts demanding likes/comments/follows/bookmarks just to access content. Original creators become invisible ghosts nobody realizes modders need visibility too. This shit makes my blood boil. Worst part? Most of these reposters don't even PLAY the game. They build follower counts just to score ad revenue. And then there's Xianyu this secondhand platform where resellers peddle 200GB+ mod packs for like $1. Anyone buying this crap is a damn fool. Congrats on paying pennies to nuke your game with conflicts... or straight up corruption. It's just a game, guys. Why turn it into this cesspool? Why are creators NEVER protected (in ANY game)? So here's my curse: May every unauthorized re uploader and dirt cheap reseller live miserably, never tasting true joy because their hearts are rotten to the core.

if we’re being honest, I only got into Blender after watching Greenyardsims and L3 00’s rendering tutorials. later, I picked up sculpting and a bunch of other stuff, and honestly? I started modding partly 'cause there were things I wanted that nobody made yet… and also because Blender is just stupid fun, lol

It’s only been like, three months since I first imported my own model into the game my skills are still baby level I can make simple models, UV unwrap, sculpt, and bake textures… that’s about it 🥹. every time I see other creators’ insanely gorgeous cc, I low key bawled my eyes out internally 😭 when will I ever be that good?
