"Fidelio"

This painting depicts the climactic scene from “Fidelio” Ludwig van Beethoven’s lone opera. I saw a copy of this picture of in a book about the great composer over thirty years ago. Writing perfectly

Earlier this week, one of the prompts was “What’s a skill or ability you have or you wish you had?” My answer: I want to write absolutely perfectly every time I put pen to paper–or put my fingers on my computer keyboard. Then I’d know all the stuff I’m writing was great. I’m so underconfident of my writing ability. I always doubt myself. I may need some self confidence, too.
