Born of avarice, the divine seraphim was destined for a life of sin. Perfection was an expectation, success the bare minimum.

Cast aside for being seen as a threat to her father's success, she faced the horrors of the sinners that surrounded her, the flames of hatred burning in her heart brighter with each passing day. And eventually, that fire burned hot enough to burn away the bars of their gilded cage.

Arriving at the old camp second to last, only six months before the creation of the island, her thirst for power was insatiable. She sought to find the flames that could burn away the sin of this world, saving and redeeming those who deserved it.

OC of the Month (March)

Kenton Bernett, Son of Ares

Our first OC of the month nomination winner is one of our Ares district members, played by our member Pinky! While he isn't all that well liked by his peers due to his fiery temper, he is one of the Haven's most capable fighters. His outstandingly notable action of the month is... having a half-nymph baby and failing his WIS checks to recognize it, only to get it kidnapped by his fellow questers! Ah, if only his wisdom matched his strength.

2 years ago, a plague broke out amongst demigods. The origin and the cause? Unclear. However, one thing is certain. It spread. And it spread fast. First taking out unclaimeds outside of the camp. Then taking out those in the very camp that was once a safe haven for half-bloods.

In desperation, Chiron sacrificed his life in an effort to save the last five remaining at that old camp, so that those heroes he trained wouldn't have to suffer the same fate as the others because of his inaction.

Thus, the new mission for Camp Half-Blood was born.

To not be a camp for young demigods, but a haven for those who needed it and end this plague. Once and for all.

After an errand gone wrong resulting in the death of two children, the reality of the plague's unfortunate consequences seems to have truly begun to set in on those who arrived.

The plague was hunting them down in a way that hurt the most.

With each quest, more questions than answers arise, but determination is not something that can be snuffed out so easily. No matter how hard the battles grow or how many are lost, those who carry on their memory will find a way to end this plague.

Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm?

Its cold down here in the mud.

Its cold, wet, cramped, humid, damp.

My feeble little body is so squishy.

My cries falling upon deaf ears.

I have no bones to protect me.

No iridescent exoskeleton like the june bugs.

No beautiful eyespots like the moths.

And yet here you are,

Plucking my wriggling form from the damp mud,

The warmth of your tender hands

Clawing at my fragile skin

Taking me into your home.

A being far beyond the scale to ever notice my existence.

I could be crushed under your boot like the ant

And you would never know..

And yet, even still you find beauty in my manifold simplicity.

I am just a worm. A pink fleshy thing.

And yet you find me beautiful.

Honored to join others among your walls.

Butterflies and beetles all in their boxes.

Pinned and studied, my body preserved for centuries.

I am truly special.

A door?

That door was not there before,

At least I don’t believe it was

My mind has this new fuzz.

A static. An unease.

The brass knob seems uncanny,

Wooden frame not shaped quite right.

It calls to me like the siren’s cry.

Creaking. Squeaking. Wailing.

Rusted hinges infringing my ability to think

As my breath hitches. The spiral, this pattern

Within the door, it draws me in,

A web this wretched spider decided to spin.

It wraps me in color, restrains me in its maze.

Who would trap me? I scream. I yell. I thrash.

There is no Who, only a What.

A What. A Distortion. A Damage.

What I am is, Gone.

There never was a Door.

Never was a Me.

A poem from my creative writing class where our prompt was to practice using onomatopoeia! I fear I got a little lost in the sauce if you will… whoopsie daisies

Had a blast writing this tho all things considered I think it turned out p decent!!

Secondary note that Duckie is VERY MUCH not a poet and is just going entirely with the vibes. I am not looking for critique this is entirely for fun, thank you ^^

Sometimes ur future boyfren just falls asleep on you in the infirmary after a bad camp attack where he lost his arm and he’s all loopy from blood loss and god knows what concoction of pain meds and you just have to deal with it as your brain hardcore bluescreens
