Hi first thing first I am a big fan of your blog! Anyways you seem to know more about the lovesick novel than I do since I did not read it yet . BUT do you know if Earn falls in love with Pete ? I wish they had more screen time together :/

about your question, well, in the novel Earn doesn’t fall in love with Pete and they are not together (and since it’s written from Noh’s pov they don’t appear that much), but there’s something between Pete and Yuri :-/ indeed, this should be our worst nightmare:

ugh, sorry Yuri, I don’t mean you are a nightmare lol I really like you and I hope you will find someone that loves you as u deserve but… no Pete okay T^T

that’s an old pic of the last year, if u remember in the first season pete looked kinda interested in Yuri, so probably at that time they were planning to follow the novel… but then, imho, realizing that there are tons of earnpete shippers and that they attract audience, in this 2nd season they’ve started to spread implicit signs all over to make us believe that maybe in the future they can be more than friends… but this is the freakin problem, they keep being implicit, and their relationship is still so ambiguous.

Probably they still don’t know how to evolve it and since they are still filming they are just taking time… but in the meanwhile they keep feeding our hopes and that’s very frustrating, since we are not getting anything concrete… plus, like u said, they don’t have much screen space and this is frustrating as well :(
