As a well known D&D geek, I actually had a hard time trying to convince my class that I didn't make up this question.

Steph (TTRPGkids) is doing some amazing stuff not only reviewing educational TTRPGs, but also working with classroom teachers to create TTRPGs for their classes.

Whilst this stunning Larry Elmore picture always makes me incredibly sad, I do agree with the thoughts shared in this article.

I've actually always found running TTPRGs for Kids far easier, whether they are children or teenagers, far easier than running them for adults.

One of the players misheard the student Dungeon Master, so we now have a Orc bandit leader who has a terrible Yorkshire accent.

I always get a little overexcited with cool things that I might add to a weapon, but I don't think this is too overpowered. This is a for a tier 2 character (levels 5-10). Let me know what you think.
P.S. Powered it down a little. I took away the +1 to hit and +1 initiative. It's still pretty powerful, and there may be an opportunity to "evolve" it when the player reaches a higher level.

I love popping in toy shops to look at their toy creature range. Some of them make perfect monsters for tabletop D&D / Fantasy TTRPG battles. I especially like the look of the golem and some of the dragons. This is the new Triceratops mount, Hugo, for my Paladin (in my student-run game).

Enjoyed the stage version of Agatha Christies Mousetrap today. Good acting, interesting characters, but perhaps it's the Dungeon Master in me, the storytelling lacked something. There was no foreshadowing of the who the murderer was, no hints or clues to help the audience work it out, and some of the motivations and reasons for being there didn't quite make sense.
I certainly think that my time as a DM has honed and heightened my instincts for plot holes and narrative flaws.
