voodoo Mordecai au - the rival

so I changed my ideal Calvin is now the Lackadaisy magic man and he a changeling now

-changeling in Celtic myth or Gaelic and I’m not sure changeling is a fae baby swapped with a normal baby so how does this work will Calvin is a son of a fae king for some reason swapped him with the real Calvin (ha ha later identity crisis. )

and then things were normal but he dislike the woods and stuff because will rocky shenanigans and always feel like he was being watched but hey that butterfly who always follows him was neat until one day Calvin finally is able to use his powers but he use them (neat) and then he accidentally kills Carroll (not so neat)

And so rocky toke the blame for him and got kick out Nina thinks rocky did something stupid and got Carroll to worry and have a heart attack

And so the timeline is normal work at Lackadaisy and stuff but lately he having dreams of something calling him a crowned blue and black butterfly “ A Mhic tha t’athair a’ gairm me’ oighre orm “

and then one day as he rocky and Ivy are being shot at by the savoys (mordecai off doing his swamp arc with the grand zombi and papa legba ) Ivy get hit or he thinks she does and get real angry and uses his powers and crush the savoy car but Ivy was ok and now he has to deal with it

Mordecai -well he’s not taking it well. Well he’s very conflicted about it like I imagine Mordecai thinking this is the way to find out who really killed Atlas after months not any clues and but at what cost I mean, he’s not really religious anymore. He stopped going to the synagogue a long time but he’s not doing well. but hey has a shadow demon now…that’s not good that’s not kosher

well, like I said earlier, he’s confused and worried I mean this is not good for business one of his best triggermen converting to the savoy congregation? that doesn’t sound like Mordecai, and well asa likes his hatchet man and is one of things his good friend atlas left behind to him (kind of) is his Golden boy so he’s worried, but I mean he still doing his job and definitely not investigating his gang

-imagine your Viktor things haven’t been really going good for you with your kneecapped by your friend (or lover if you ship them) he’s out of the game force to be a bartender worried that Rocky will get Ivy killed or she do it herself your can’t bring yourself to write to your wife or daughter so not going good for Viktor then bang your ex friend (or lover ) now has sold his soul to some gypsy swamp magic and you thought he couldn’t fall any farther. It’s still not good day for Viktor

more voodoo Mordecai au ideas

so Mordecai get voodoo powers after he and the savoys do a job kill some New Orleans rum runner who was double dealing and he find some weird wooden idol he was about to throw in the trash but the savoys tell him to keep it and so he does only to get them to leave him alone and etc

so he get home to his apartment and look at it does some work taxes you know and fall asleep and he has this weird dream about that time in the train where atlas found and saved him but atlas isn’t there it some weird cat dressed like one of the savoys congregation members

he introduced him self as the grand zombi and he interacted in him since he found the idol and tell him there lot divine beings both holy and unholy interested in him but he has a deal Mordecai of course is dismissing of this strange and annoying dream as the train setting slowly changes into more dark and a large fire as the grand zombi tell him he know who off atlas and tell Mordecai something he didn’t know that seem very true (i don’t what )

but of course Mordecai doesn’t believe this and just want this “savoylike”” dream to end and the grand zombi offer a deal take some of his power for a week and see what he see so Mordecai accepted as the drums get louder and that morning he awaked

try to find his glasses and then his now living shadow hand him them and goes “thank you ……..” cues the screaming

(So yeah this well probably take me forever to actually write and stuff and I apologize for that I just like to think everything out first and I need to do more research on voodoo and how to write lackadaisy characters I probably redo this later so yeah if any one can help please do this idea came form the lackadaisy fan discord )

So I’m planning on making a voodoo Mordecai au where he accidentally gets voodoo powers decides to fully commit because it’s for work he even has his own shadow demon now
