they don’t have to be canonically trans nor canonically autistic. they just have to have the vibes.

you can submit as many characters as you would like but only one submission per person per character

the bracket will be seeded so that the character with the most submissions goes up against the least and so forth. this is to keep it from being the most epic showdown ever in the first round and then super anticlimactic in the finals

no real people. you’re welcome to submit them and give your reasoning to make me laugh but they won’t end up in the bracket.

no harry potter characters or mcyt. this is just a personal boundary as the person making the bracket.

don’t be a dick. this is all for fun and games. i will block liberally if i need to.

Do you like participating in tumblr polls but you're tired of people calling your favorite firefighter and their families cops? Then do I have the bracket for you! Introducing...

The Fictional Firefighter Bracket

The bracket will start with 32 seeds - 8 starters from the 911 Universe, 8 from the Grey's Anatomy Universe, 8 from the One Chicago Universe, and 8 from other media/universes. If you want to submit characters, the form can be found here!

Rules:

Submissions are open from now until Saturday, April 1st at noon pacific time. It gives me enough time to seed and create the bracket to post before start my work week.

Characters from Grey's/One Chicago/911 Universes will not be included in the other 8 starting seeds. I don't want to give one universe an unfair advantage for the title. I'm going to try to do my best to keep this balanced and fair.

This will be kept to firefighters and paramedics only. Sorry all, but that means no dispatchers and no extended family. This is gonna be a place to celebrate our favorite first responders. I might do more brackets in the future that they can be a part of, though, so watch for those!

Don't be mean. Seriously. Anyone with tags or comments that insult others for their opinions or votes will be blocked. That is a promise, not a threat.

For the time being, anon messaging will be turned on for this blog. The minute I start getting rude messages, that will change. Don't be the reason everyone else loses anonymity.

Do you love when sibling relationships are prevalent in media?  Have you always wondered what would happen when your two favorite sibling sets were pitted against each other in a tumblr tournament?

Welcome to the SIBLING SHOWDOWN, a tumblr poll tournament of 64 siblings where only the best will make it to the end!

Inspired by tumblr tournaments @eldest-sibling-tournament​ and @youngersiblingtournament, this showdown pits different groups of siblings against each other and lets tumblr decide the winner.  Will the winners be the siblings that love each other the most?  That are most capable of killing other sibling groups with their bare hands?  That have the most sibling swag?  It’s up to you to decide!

Right now I am taking submissions for sibling groups to include in the bracket.  Some guidelines:

Siblings must be canon within their source material: biological, adopted, step-siblings, half-siblings, and foster siblings are all valid!

Siblings can’t be a big surprise or reveal within their source material.  For example, we all know about Luke and Leia being siblings now, but given that they were a secret for two movies and a huge reveal, they are not allowed in this showdown

You are allowed to submit partial siblings, rather than all siblings in a family.  For example: Sam and Dean Winchester are allowed, but since Adam is a secret reveal he is not allowed.  Therefore, you are allowed to submit only Sam and Dean.

Only one sibling group per fandom will be allowed.  Azula and Zuko will not be able to go against Katara and Sokka for this showdown.

I will naturally gravitate towards siblings from fandoms I know or am part of, so plead your case in the submissions!  Siblings are more likely to be chosen for this showdown if they are main characters or if their sibling bond has a significant impact on the story (whether positive or negative).

No real people will be considered for this tournament.  The siblings must be fictional characters.

Nani could have been a pro surfer but she gave up her dream for her sister’s welfare AND NEVER ONCE complained about this, instead found very caring and loving ways to introduce Lilo to the wonderful thing of surfing without being resentful or bitter about not going pro. she’s practical as a caregiver and tells it how it is but she is also fully available emotionally, knows how to say sorry, and teaches Lilo a level of emotional intelligence that is honestly impressive for a grown ass mother BUT NO SHES “JUST” A BIG SISTER
