Part 1
Founded in Milwaukee, Wi JuiceBox understands the need for accessible and inclusive education. Our organization works to change the future of education, starting with the belief that the quality of a child’s start to education should never be limited by income or accessibility. We are a group of creative and passionate individuals with a mix of Art and Educational backgrounds that believe the way to invest in our community starts with enriching and encouraging those around us. The origin of this revamped take on preschool is the need to provide kids with creativity at a young and crucial developing point in their lives. We understand that many times education that provides children with beneficial options is not always accessible to all. This is where we firmly believe no child should be left out, which is why we work with any and all income levels to provide a exceptional start to young lives. Not only is this a daycare accessible to all income levels but we also welcome those with special needs by providing any specific care or assistance required. The way this preschool operates is part volunteer based and highly accessible for all type of income levels. For many positions such as classroom assistants we work with the community to bring in passionate volunteers that believe all children deserve expansive and creative options. We believe community starts by making sure all feel welcome. Our staff also includes trained individuals that assist children with any special need or disabilities so that they can receive the same opportunities without any exclusion from an interactive environment. Our Preschool is handicap accessible. The ways this preschool differs from ordinary preschools is quite vast. For starters we like to focus on a hand-on basis, meaning taking arts and crafts to the next level. The projects and opportunities that we provide the children with all implement learning from various subjects (Science, Math, History) in unique ways that allow the children to explore their own creative side while also receiving education.
