You are in a presence of an Emperor they say. When has Hakuno never been in a presence of a royal being? Was she truly a magnet for those types of people? Just why though? And why were they all so eccentric in their personalities? Ah, she felt tired, ever so tired. 

In the first place, why was the first Emperor of Qin looking at Hakuno as if she was a rare animal. She knows those eyes, those familiar eyes of curiosity. Every royal she met has the exact same eyes, oh how she knows them well.  Well, it’s not like Hakuno could run away from Shi Huang Di.

Perhaps if she fades away like the wallflower she is, he will think he’s talking to thin air...yeah right, Hakuno knows that she’s the only person in the vicinity that this person approaches her.

Funny man that Ozymandias. Though his logic was sound and reasonable, there was only one thing that was a fact to this current day. Besides, she was already here and quite comfortable in her corner on the floor, so if Ozymandias wants her out, he needs to make the effort to kick her out himself. But she knows him well enough.

“      if you think that’ll discourage me think again.     ”      fire fighting fire , wave crashing onto wave.  he was worse than her.  irregardless of her usefulness and inexperience , he will win this purely out of spite.  he can’t kill her , he won’t kill her being above that feeble minded nature and then her being the sole master he is compatible with and who will keep him rooted within this digital space.  she says she has kings , she says she has heroes of myth , she says she has all that she needs , and he could not care less.   he was the shinsengumi , the vice commander of the bakumatsu’s strongest groups of warriors who soared through the era with unwavering will and sincerity.  leaving their marks as among the most feared and the most revered.  he who stood as the last , tall , proud and brave hoisting the flag of sincerity an on top of a hill of broken banners and carnage.  it never ended , it shall never end , and certainly will not end here all because of her.   arms having been folded , posture stiff and visage sour , he doesn’t break eye contact with his fiery red hues burning into her mousy browns.  he prowls closer , slowly closing the distance between them.  closer , taller , towering ,      “     i’m annoying , hah?  i’m a turn off , hah?  t’ch , try better with your insults —- they’re like a mouse’s bite compared to the nasty names i’ve received.  you will become my page whether or not you like it.  this is not me asking , this is me making it happen.      ”

“I’m not the type to do insults, only the type to state out the plain truth of the matter.” She was blunt and that in itself caused others to either like her or be annoyed with Hakuno. She was lucky that all of the Servants by her side enjoys her honest nature, though her annoyance with Hijikata makes it straight up blunt and lethal, though for the Berserker it was like being smack by the wind. 

It was truly a rare sight for the other Servants to see Hakuno deny a person let alone disagree with them. They often times see Hakuno be annoyed with Gilgamesh or Nero but she never straight up disagree with them, but then again. Those regal royals and Hakuno had a common ground and understanding with one another so it was vastly different.

Hijikata on the other hand, they were so alike that they just end up clashing instead. 

“You can get a random drone or NPC to become your page, why should I be it?” 

More and more, she was tired of this conversation. It always end the same way. 

“Tell me why I should be your page? What do I get out of it other than your ire and not appealing personality.” 

Not like Hakuno was one to talk, her personality was as bland as her appearance.
