Andrew is probably my favourite of your muse. I love the way you write him. He's more human and complex as a character through your writing.

He’s been a huge comfort character for me ever since I was diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder  (which I headcanon Andrew as having as well)  and really helped me come to terms with it,  so it’s always nice to hear people like the way I write him.

5. What is the most difficult thing about writing your current muse?

This highly depends on the muse ... and generally,  when I find a muse truly difficult to write,  I will drop them.  Since I roleplay to relax!  

I would say my most difficult muse at the moment would be Frank Fontaine,  however!  I’m sometimes just having a hard time to be that much of a bastard.

8. Have you ever written a novel? If not, does it interest you?

I’m actually in the effort of writing one right now!

15. What sort of muses do you tend to write?

Flawed people.  People who’ve made mistakes.  Usually also people who are trying to do better,  now.  People with family issues.  Good fathers.  People with interesting character growth  (whether positive or negative).

18. What makes for a great roleplay partner in your opinion?

Good communication!

3. What rp trends are you so over and can’t wait for it to die?

Munday Asks: Salt Edition

Heavy post formatting.

Mostly because it makes things really hard to read for a lot of sight - impaired people.  I cannot read sub - small text,  for example,  and reading long amounts of small text will give me headaches.

And yes,  I have apps that make all text the same - size on my dash,  but not everyone has access to things like that.

It feels especially alienating when people have small text or other formatting as a requirement in their rules  (which is,  unfortunately,  something that happens a lot in certain fandoms)  and it just makes me really sad.

14. Ever knew someone that everyone loves but you can’t stand?

I feel like there’s not a lot of things you can do to make me dislike you enough to not be able to stand to be around you.  But there are certain people in each fandom that I would rather not be associated with or just don’t really gel with.

And there’s this one person within the Bioshock fandom who I just ... keep banging heads with.  I don’t hate them or anything,  I just really don’t agree with some of the things they say.

I am generally such a Grinch when it comes to Christmas,  but I haven’t been able to stop watching this new movie that came out called  ‘Klaus’ ??  I’ve already watched it about 7 times by now and there’s no sign of my hyper fixation stopping any time soon.

I’m allergic to nuts and a substance that’s in lens fluid and also some selective brands of perfume / mouthwash.

I’ve been brainstorming about this really cool story with @heartoftheyugi​ and its been constantly in the back of my mind with everything I do.

I have this weird Twitter  ‘friendship’  with the Bill Gardner  (who is one of my heroes)  where we’re frequently casually responding to each other and then sometimes I suddenly have these moments of clarity where my mind goes  “Wait a moment...”  and I’m reminded of who I’m talking to and jasfgkgfkja

14.What are your thoughts on duplicates?

I love them, honestly! There’s nothing better to me than seeing other people who write as the same character as you and seeing what differences/similarities there are between your own portrayal and theirs. Sharing a love for the same character is great. Duplicates are friends, not threats!

16. What do you expect from others when they want to roleplay?

When I say “hop into my IMs and lets plot!” I’m not saying you have to have a fully fleshed out idea. Even if all you have is a location that you want our muses to meet in, we can go from there and think of something together. As long as I have something, no matter how small it may seem, then it’s all good. 

I also don’t mind if you send a message along the lines of “hey, i dont have an idea, but i really want my muse to interact with x because of x” then that’s all good, too. Basically, as long as you show an interest, then I’m sure we can think of some way to have our muses interact in some form.

22.If you could recommend at least five blogs to your followers, who would they be?

*cracks knuckles* here we go…

1 - @fxrtfrxlic - They write an amazing Sander Cohen! They have such a well-thought out understanding of the character, and it shows through their writing/plots/IMs/headcanons/basically everything. Their writing style is fantastic, and I always get super hyped whenever I see they’ve replied to a thread. Mun is a beautiful bean (also I would consider them to be my best friend, really) who deserves more love, and this RP blog needs all of the love it can get because their Sander is sooo freaking good!! <3 <3 <3 <3

2. @emilesmuseassembly - They have a very large roster of muses on various blogs, so if you aren’t a part of the BioShock fandom, there is still plenty of ways you can interact with them! It is always worth it! I love their writing style, I love seeing their replies, I just have a lot of love for Emile all in all, really. 

3. @atlasshrvgged - I love how sassy their bald eggo boy is, it’s truly a work of art in itself. Also Billy Zane as a FC is perfect! If you want your Frank Fontaine to be a sassy lil shit, then look no further than this blog! They’re freaking fantastic. I love the way they write Frank!

4. @sylphim - Atlas is so freaking great, the mun’s writing is so descriptive it’s honestly such a great experience to RP with them. They really know how to paint pictures with words. Again, another phenomenal take on a very complex character. I’m all about it!

5. @royalmuses - So let me just take a moment to say how much I appreciate the way they write Gordon Freeman. (I love their Nick as well, don’t get me wrong, he’s a lovely boy, but I need to get this out of my system before I explode!) It can be so difficult to write a mute character, considering there isn’t any dialogue to work off of, but they write him in a way that doesn’t take the disability away from him while still keeping everything detailed, descriptive and human, which I love. The mun translates what’s going through his mind really well. The use of sign language is also a big thing for me, I love seeing it in writing! He’s a very interesting character, and the mun has brought a new kind of life into him, and it’s great to see it!
