Can parallels between Eren/Historia and Grisha/Dina reveal more than we think??

Historia has royal blood = Dina had royal blood

Eren has Yeagerists= Grisha had restorationists

Both couples share a similar moment. This one in particular:

In Grisha’s flashback, as Dina was hugging him he said: “The next year, the two of us married and were blessed with a son.”

If the parallels continue then it would be reasonable to theorize that the same thing happened with Eren and Historia. Meaning, the next year, after the meeting with Kyomi, Eren and Historia we’re married and blessed with a child.

I know it’s bold of me to insinuate that Eren and Historia are married (there’s a fair chance they aren’t), but at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me if they were (especially since Historia didn’t marry the farmer).

I think one of the last parallels we’ll possibly see between these couples is in the last panel and this is where we’ll see the cycle being broken.

When Grisha first held Zeke, the first words he spoke to him were: “A child with royal blood. Someday this child will lead us to victory.”

He immediately put expectations on Zeke and trapped him in a mission he didn’t choose, the Restoration of Eldia. Making the same mistakes as his father, Dr. Yeager.

When Eren holds his child for the first time he will assure the child that they are free. Free from inheriting any burdens from either parent, free from the cycle of hate and revenge. Eren restored Eldia and kept his wife and child safe while doing it, which Grisha failed at. And by doing this, Eren will have broken the cycles and surpassed his father.

before aot ends I wanted to draw one big thing for eren and historia, no matter the ending. I have wanted to draw more environment pieces soon as well, so this was fun to do.

it’s still very strange to think that it will be over in a few weeks, but this series will always stick with me as one that brought back much inspiration for my art and allowed me to meet some important friends, i’ll definitely continue to draw it long after it’s done. especially historia…

Seeing Erehisu antis act like children on Twitter and instagram because they see art of them is so funny. If you don't like it when maybe don't watch or comment on it? If you like Eremika then go somewhere else. This is why I never interact with fandoms they're so annoying and always suck the fun out of everything. Maybe stop getting so worked up over some cartoons kissing. But then again Western fandoms have no brain cells.

 I agree with anon (image below) this part is parallel of M→E & E→H. And imo Eren was thinking about Historia not only because Zeke’s words triggered him; but it’s also likely what Eren could have said to Historia.

First, the part “that favor has no compelling reason, neither true nature or habit” is as it’s said in image above; just like Mikasa’s affection towards him, Eren’s feeling towards Historia has nothing to do with memories from Frieda or any other reasons.

Second, I always think it’s strange that Zeke said 巨人を捻り殺せる (snap the titan’s neck), which is “twist the titan’s neck to death” aka using your limbs to lock and break the titan’s neck/nape. A job that Mikasa never could do despite she’s an Ackerman because she has a body size of human.

Since this technique requires a body size of titan. So unless you’re as big as titans, you can only kill them by [slicing] their necks with blades, or by [blowing] their necks with thunder spears. and guess who’s been breaking necks of titans with his four limbs in a titan body?

Zeke coincidentally used a metaphor that Eren could feel so relatable, and only he could. Eren must’ve known his favor toward Historia as well, everything would’ve been easier to let Historia become titan to do Rumbling since she wouldn’t try to order Ymir euthanize Eldians in paths.

Next, I know considering the whole context, it’s Zeke talking about Mks. However, since jpn usually omits subject in sentence, original text in bubbles texts attached to Eren could be interpreted as “(1) I’d snap the titan’s neck just for you (2) simply because I love you.”

Isym’s words choice is interesting, the Yeagers convo is a continuation of EH convo. “Eren, I want to know the reason behind your favor towards me” “That favor has no compelling reason, neither true nature or habit. I’d snap titan’s neck just for you, simply because I love you.”

“[I’m doing this plan because] I only have 4 years left [to protect you].” “Well, Eren, what would you think about me having a child? (A life of yours that will continue even after you die)” <I want them to live long, happy lives> (Eren mentioned [them] in a conversation which mentioned Mikasa only)

If we say what Zeke said might be just figuratively comparison, then why Eren didn’t bother to think of Mikasa, or why Isym didn’t insert a {random panel} of Mikasa’s favor toward Eren flashback to remind Eren that these acts are out of love as he always do for other characters.

EMs try hard to deny Eren didn’t think of Hisu and it was just an only ‘random panel’, but I wonder do they consider the fact this panel randomly exists in the convo about Mks’s feeling instead of her shard just shows that Isym didn’t have intention to push the climax on her feelings but Hisu’s ask, lol.
