The screenplay dent I need to make is actually extraordinary. I have no idea why writing it is like sawing my own arm off, but it is. And this is what I have to work with.

09042020 - Setepmber is HERE and it’s coming in cool, calm and collected. It’s my favourite month. My birthday is soon. More importantly, I STARTED LAW SCHOOL. And I have one million pages to read already.

18 November 2018 || My recital is done! Now it’s time to confront the last leg of this crazy semester.

I'm actually doing a little better. My mental health is still not at that point where it should be and I feel I'm going to crash again soon because of the stress with school, but right now it's okay. I'm managing and working on myself 🦇

It’s nice that you’re doing a bit better. Remember that mental health is never a straightforward process—sometimes it can feel like you’re taking 10 steps backward. It’s a journey and there will be setbacks. Celebrate the steps forward and don’t be too hard on yourself with the steps backward!

THIS!!!! The hyper-romantic, white, and wealthy aesthetic of dark academia is solely centered on western culture, and while that’s not inherently a bad thing, how it’s associated with higher education and intelligence feels exclusionary toward communities of color 

I’m just going to be blunt here: the dark academia aesthetic is extremely white-centered, euro-centric, and romanticized. as students, it is essential that we are showing up for our BIPOC siblings (specifically our Black friends) in every single aspect of our lives including our online spaces. as a part of the studyblr community, our tendency to be consumers is pretty inevitable- whether we’re shopping for cute stickers to decorate our planners or looking for the next novel to read, it is time that we acknowledge the importance of where that money is going towards. I URGE YOU TO STOP BUYING ON AMAZON! here is a non-comprehensive list I’ve put together of BIPOC small and/or independent businesses!
