My piece for the Lies Of P art contest - I poured all my soul and few night hours into this one...! Lies Of P universe and its characters are heartbreakingly haunting, so I tried to draw something haunting.

Main boss opinions:

Parade Master- 8/10. A good tutorial boss. Fun moves. Removes his head once he's done with your shit. I died more times then I'd like to admit.

Scrapped Watchman- 7/10. I like him but he is far too tanky for this soon in the game. Paarl done right as you can actually hit him and your weapon doesn't phase through spindly legs. Very good lore- makes me sad early game. Great job.

Fuoco- 7/10. I died to this boss like 30 times in NG and wanted to cry because I didn't understand this game isn't Sekiro and I am allowed to dodge as well. I seriously hated him but now appreciate he was trying to teach me something. Beat him 2nd time in NG+.

Archbishop Andreus- 9/10. I like this boss a lot. Fun and challenging but not ridiculous. Absolutely awesome design- I love how grotestque he is and how its a mockey of the saviour he wished to be for Krat and the refugees. Great lore. I feel a little bad for the guy.

Black Rabbit Brotherhood PT 1- 8/10. I like gank fights done right and this one is done right. Really like the characters and lead up to the boss fight too. Only took off points for Eldest attacking (not charging- I can deal with that) sometimes when I was trying to deal with the younger sibling.

King of Puppets/Romeo- 10/10. Perfect fight. Perfect lore. Reminds me of Lady Maria in how its challenging but fun. Best cutscene intro in the game. Both phases are vastly different but manageable once you know them. Translated puppet speak makes you feel bad. Romeo is a true bro.

Champion Victor- 7/10. I have no strong opinions on this boss tbh. I appreciate his one health bar and that you can dodge around him. He's a good boss just not memorable compared to others.

Swamp Monster- 5/10. ihatethisbossihatethisbossihatethisbossihatethisboss. The only boss where I felt it was genuinely a bit unfair. Tanky health bars in both phases, sweeping tentacles attacks, charges for days. And his lore is just- he eats scrapped puppets. Cool story bro.

Corrupted Parade Master- 6/10. He's alright. I liked the level more than him tbh. Not very hard but a good reminder of how far you've come. Speedbump boss. I weirdly preferred the mini boss- Walker of Illusions.

Black Rabbit BrotherHood Part 2 electric/decay/fire boogaloo- 6/10. This would be rated higher if not for status elements being thrown at you. Hate that. They aren't tough to deal with and the eldest is fine by himself once he returns but its just more of a hassle then fun.

Laxasia - 9/10. We return to greatness. Yes she is hard. Yes she has too many attacks in a row sometimes. Yes she throws lightning. But all of her attacks are learnable and she doesn't pull any bullshit (not counting the stagger bait, its fine once you see it and remember it). This lady is fun to fight.

Simon Manus- 6/10. I want to like this boss. I really do. The visuals in Phase 2 are great and the lore is fantastic. Plus he looks grotesque, showing how far his ambition took him. But there is too much going on in 2nd phase. A bit like BRB 2 its more of a hassle then fun. I appreciate Laxasia for just throwing lightning balls, not melee attacking/disruption blasts/A LITERAL HAND OF GOD FROM THE SKY all at the same time.

Nameless Puppet- 10/10. It's my favourite boss. Not ridiculously hard but challenging enough that it gets your heart pounding with the determination to show your worthless dad what for. I love his moves, I loved learning him, I love his lore (hello creepy half puppet/Carlo corpse) and the emotion behind making the choice to fight him. Great boss. Up there with Sigrun, Isshin, Ludwig, Friede, Demon of Hatred etc as one of my faves.
