Caregiver Lars Drabble

Synopsis : You can't sleep and it's getting quite late, so how does Lars decide to handle this? Well it's storytime of course!

Extra Info? : Gender Neutral reader , bit of fussy-ness

You huffed, waiting for Lars to come back from the bathroom. It was a routine for him to put you down to sleep and then get ready for bed himself, usually though you would be asleep while he did his nightly routine. Tonight though? You just couldn't fall asleep!

It was frustrating, you could feel the oncoming headache from tiredness, and your eyes were droopy; no matter how much you tried though your mind just wouldn't shut off and go to bed.

Lars stepped out of the bathroom, drying off his hair and glanced up to see you sitting on the bed, teddy bear in lap with a big pout. "Oh, hey there gumdrop!" You whined and reached out for him, Lars gladly picking you up and sitting you on his lap. "Now why are you still awake?"

A small was all you could muster out as you buried your face in his night shirt, hands holding on to the fabric and gently pulling it. "Hm, someone's clearly tired. Why don't we lie down?" Lars laid himself down, a hand on your back to keep you from falling as you went down with him.

He reached over blindly, grabbing one of the books stacked on the nightstand. Books were always something that helped you sleep — along with warm milk but that was a last resort.

"Hey sweetheart? Want to hear a story?" You glanced up, slightly nodding with eyes half-lidded and a yawn creeping up your body. "Okay, this one's Goodnight Moon, you remember that one?"

With a small cough to clear his throat, Lars was reading to you one of your favorite stories. "In the great green room, there was a telephone."

Regressor Steven Headcannons !!

Steven regresses toddler-kid age, (3-7) though he mainly sticks around 5/6 !

He's usually covered in bandaids from playing outside!

Pearl has gotten really good at sewing so she didn't have to throw out Stevens clothing that he's torn up

He has a comfort stuffie that Connie gave him, it's a lion that is always laying down

He loves cuddling with Garnet cause he can comfortably sit in her lap and and curl up with her

Amethyst is his favorite to play with cause she's so goofy and rowdy !!

They usually end up running around the beach all day and it never gets boring !!

Connie is just his favorite overall (he'd never tell though) she's so nice and in a way just understands what he needs all together while the gems only get certain bits

He loves them all though !! :)

I'm Wonder [sun/he], an age regression writer. I've been regressing for about 3 or 4 years now, and writing about it for 2 years. I've had two previous regression based blogs, both of which I abandoned for a bit due to mental health issues and then when I came back I viewed them as "messy" and "incomplete" which is why I made this blog! I'm trying to keep this one in a neater state and I plan on handling better than my last two.

Off of the formalities, I'm neurodivergent and have multiple mental health issues. Which makes blog running and writing a bit hard but I still try. I'm into multiple different fanbases and write for a few of them (found on about the blog). My favorite color is pink and purple and I have a boyfriend who is also my caregiver :).
