the original "deal" was: tenna distracts passersby long enough for spamton to scam or steal from them, and in return tenna gets repairs from spamton (with the bonus of spamton acting as tenna's eyes sometimes since his vision is wack with a broken screen).

leading up to this comic, a human got into a fight with tenna so spam didn't get to steal anything from them. tenna then hates himself for it (he doesn't care as much about the damage as he does thinking he might've ruined the only relationship he has anymore) and spam gets his shit together to repair the guy without thinking twice about it. you let your guard down ONE time and the tv guy makes you question all that you stand for smh

ok like the weird route is fucked up but i think the fact that so much of it revolves around noelle is so interesting. because im ngl if noelle played deltarune she would definitely play the weird route. that kind of thing is like the way she plays games. she has headless cats in cat petterz. she'd play the evil route in dragon blazers while trying not to scream too loud. i think the fact that noelle is the one basically being tortured is meant to show that even in universe characters can feel that degree of separation that we feel when we do evil things in the games we play, and noelle feels it especially strongly, so it's like a kind of irony that in the narrative of the route she feels the way she does, because if she was one layer of reality higher, she'd be the one holding the controller.

he gets more and more incoherent with each chapter its scary!! like we're watching him lose his fucking mind & we cant do anything about it. it seems like all the other npcs have some sort of interaction or connection with other characters but hes just. there. alone. makes me sad actually.

the 'wait, don't' makes me feel like hes stuck reliving a terrible moment or something. he reminds me of the paledriver from disco elysium, the way he just seems fully detached from our reality.

hes so scary to me. i fear in an upcoming chapter we'll enter the library and he'll just be gone. and no one will say anything about it

I think it'd be really funny if he had no idea people even LIKED him. He's just doing someone else's job (Real Mike's) and just so happens to have accidentally come across a conspiracy (the Real Mike. again) that he dragged his friends into (Jongler and Pluey)

He's not here for fame or fortune, he's here to figure out WHO THE HELL MIKE IS so he can finally stop doing someone else's job. He also just manages to do a really fucking good job as Fake Mike though. also he likes doing mike's job. but no one heard him say that
