(i haven’t seen the movies so bear with me but) the ending of psych is so good because so many shows will end with a tight-knit friend group moving away from each other and they give you some bs about having to grow up as if being an adult means you can’t have meaningful and close friendships BUT psych says a big fat fuck you and has gus decide to drive five hours in a stolen car to go to his best friend and shawn describes not saying goodbye to him as his biggest regret in life like ???? jules saying yes to marrying both of them ?? because gus is an integral part of shawn’s life ??? regardless of if you ship them romantically or not i rarely see shows highlight a friendship like that AND FOLLOW THROUGH

So true, I have an unhealthy thing for when my favorite characters get whump 😭

i wish Psych made Shawn suffer more. sorry but i like it when my favorite characters are subject to massive amounts of whump :(

like i really enjoy 4x09 (Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark) and 7x01 (Santabarbaratown 2) in particular bc they’ve got the physical and emotional pain. The Yin/Yang saga is excellent ofc.

that being said. this is why fan fiction exists 😄

The best psych fic i ever read i dont think ill ever find again and im sad about it. It was about Shawn and James Roday accidentally switching places and James had to solve the crime of the day only using his knowledge of the show and it was incredible i miss it

I love Studio Ghibli so much. The reason for that is, these movies are so different than any other type of movie ever. But these movies have me excited about life. It has me excited about life, celebrating the small things in life. Let’s cook, clean, do the laundry. Help mom with her work, go for a long walk by the harbor. And it’s so relaxing, the music is so calming and it just immediately puts me at peace. It gives me hope in love, in friends. I love it.

No because that’s EXACTLY what Kirsten said at Psych con. Of course we all knew, but Karen knew Shawn was crazy and he didn’t have police procedure. But- along that line, he wasn’t “psychic” enough, she KNEW he had to be a fake. But if she asked too many questions, meant that he would stop consulting and tons of criminals would be freed. Let’s get real. Shawn was REAL good, he brought in good numbers. It was “don’t tell me what I don’t need to know”. Because if she found out, she would have no choice but to file the charges and free the criminals.

Remind me of or the quote “ you weren’t here, and we didn’t have this conversation. Call me if you have something?”

I’m in the camp that Vick knew Shawn wasn’t psychic but I also think she saw what he could do and went “I’m about to have the best arrest numbers in the county” and just let him do whatever
