to be honest i really did not expect this blog (even my first one) to get as much attention as it has, but i'm so glad it did

i've met so many people and blogs that are so sweet and kind and i couldn't ask for better people to call contestants and loyal subjects (joke for joke purposes). thank you all for being here, you've all made the time i spent making this competition so worth it. i'm sad to see it end, but everything comes to an end. and hey- a sequel might be in the future! after a long nap...

Rules:

- no real people, only fictional characters. this includes vtubers and minecraft youtubers.

- you can submit as many characters as you like, but only one per submission

- I'm gonna determine the bracket by random but I'll edit it if it feels unfair

- just have fun ok? this is for kicks and giggles

- polls will last 24hrs

- a few characters are already guaranteed to be in the bracket; Rui Kamishiro, Narciso Anasui, and Kagami Kawaiine

Chaos Incarnate Showdown: nominations open!

Welcome again! Brought to you by Jo from @fashiondisastertournament, let's now pick the most Chaotic fictional character ever!

This time, I embrace not only chaotic fashion but chaotic characters. Which one of your blorbos is the Most Chaotic in body, mind, and spirit? Who's trouble, unruly, all over the place, brings anarchy everywhere they go? When you hear the word CHAOS, who comes to your mind? Let's make them fight! Speak now or forever hold your peace-

How will this work?/ Rules

This tournament is for fictional characters ONLY. So, no real-life people, no influencers or youtubers (incl. personas). Sorry!

Feel free to nominate as many characters as you like, but please nominate each of them only once! I trust you <3

Depending on the number of nominations, the bracket will have either 32 or 64 spots to be filled. Half of the spots (16 or 32) will be filled with the most frequently submitted characters, who will all be pitted against each other in the early rounds. The other half will be chosen from the less frequently submitted characters who may not be as popular or come from obscure sources, but who you convince me best are Extremely Chaotic. To improve their chances, they will also be pitted against each other in the early rounds. Other than that, all matchups will be random.

Multiple characters from one media source MAY be included if their popularity or criteria warrant that. However, no more than 2-3 characters from one source will make it in.

No characters get in by default. It's all based on your nominations!

The last question on this form is optional, BUT it might help your character greatly. Either with getting in, or in the later tournament itself!

This is it! From 64 initial contenders, we're down to the final 2. Trexel Geistman from Stellar Firma took the third spot already, but who will be first on the podium? Who deserves a nice pair of golden crocs for just how BAD their fashion sense is?

For one last time, let's review their Fashion Crimes!

On the left side, rises Cecil Gershwin Palmer. Crowned the Tumblr sexyman, iconic enough to make it into so many tournaments, is he also Disastrous enough to win here? His run in this competition so far has been smooth, full of sweeps even against the toughest contenders. He has been often nominated for (all canonically):

his first date outfit being described as "my best tunic and furry pants"

wearing capri pants and a cummerbund to work

wearing yellow sponge clogs, cat ears, and tights to the opera

wearing "a black tuxedo and white bow tie, open-toed polished black shoes, a burgundy velvet cape, earrings made from repurposed car keys, and a top hat with furry tassels hanging from the brim" to his wedding
