when i was 8 years old they were playing music at my gymnastics practice, like always, and there was this one song i heard a part of that just got stuck in my head. the melody was absolutely hypnotizing to me. never figured out what it was until a week and a half ago while i was at work. it started playing over the store speakers and i just froze, realized how familiar it was, and ran to my phone to go find it. that song was "too shy" by kajagoogoo, and i have been listening to it on a loop for like the past week and a half

i got to watch the last solar eclipse in august 2017 but i dont get to watch it today unfortunately cuz i cant find my old glasses i used last time 😔given they're visible in the US so rarely, 3 of them happening in the span of 7 or so years is pretty neat

What if. Dib n Dexter meet

I've thought about this actually- fun fact! they share a japanese voice actor :) anyways though, this is kind of a tough question to answer because there's both things they strongly agree on and strongly disagree on. theyre both obviously skilled in math and science, but that isn't what dib is really into fully. he incorporates it into his paranormal studies but it's not his main thing like his father. he'd get bored of the conversation pretty fast. given his nature, he'd obviously bring up the fact that he's a self proclaimed paranormal investigator and that there's an alien in his class.

with that in mind, i think dexter would instantly take his word for it, as he's interacted with aliens before. but on the paranormal aspect, i think he'd be one of many to call him crazy, and given his tendency to be a bit of an Asshole, he'd probably tease him for it too. (despite the fact that there's an episode in which they literally cast spells and shit?? idk man i got this from the comics) he'd also probably nitpick his wording on lumping together the paranormal and aliens.

maybe dexter would get along better with dib's dad, professor membrane?

tldr, i think there's some things they could both get along about and also butt heads about. overall though i dont think pairing them up together would be a good idea as they'd probably start fighting each other over things lol

new job kinda knocked me on my ass for a sec but ill be ok i just have to get used to it

i put in an order for a tester for the (hopefully) final version of the superstar saga keychain, i updated the background to be darker and made the size 3.5 inches as opposed to 2.5. hopefully that should be better!

current plan for the keychains:

the very first one i'm gonna sell is the superstar saga shaker keychain just to learn how preorders work, and if everything goes well, then i'll be doing the invader zim keychains.

with those i'll be doing 6 of them: zim&gir, dib, gaz, tak, the tallest (together), and professor membrane. they'll look like they come in a set (all with a black keychain accessory, star holographic, character(s) facing front and back, colored acrylic, and 3 inches) and i'm really happy with the zim one i made so im excited to make the other ones!! the dib one is in production right now. im excited to learn how to sell stuff

as for the candyman one i made a while back i think that'll be a limited run one where i wont do preorders for them. i made it 4 inches but honestly it's really big so i think i'll make it 3.5 or something. i'll also add a orange bow keychain accessory to it myself

Could you tell how you developed your artstyle? I really like it a lot and it is very recognizable

oh gosh ok so this is tough because i never really keep it really "consistent," i let it morph to what i'm currently inspired by naturally while also not trying to hard to directly copy said styles. if i do feel like changing something about my style, i try it out and do lots (i mean lots) of doodles to make it perfect i guess lol. tldr i just go with the flow of what i'm currently inspired by and mash it all together!
