My favorite moment on Twitter is when Kathy Griffin thought I was a spam bot when I got caught in the crossfire of some bot claiming something about her merch and shit and I commented on it and she thought I was part of it and it took HOURSSSSS for it to get resolved but all in all…a great experience with her. Miss her tons and am following her on her health recovery on other sites. She’s a fierce comedian and a great woman to boot!
hey. the celebrities and corporations are going to try tumblr. you may want to drive them off the site, or find them amusing, ie “well THIS one can stay.” they may try to engage with the culture. they may do their research. DO NOT ENGAGE. do not bother. don’t fucking acknowledge them. don’t mess with their heads. don’t reply to them as a bit. let them think this site is a lost cause. let them fizzle out and die
The one thing I will enjoy about switching over to this site is that I will have more freedom in my “blogging” (if you want to call it that). I started Twitter back in its infancy. I had it for about 7 years starting in 2007. My first handle was Viva_RexHylton. Paris Hilton was everywhere and I wanted to emulate her.
After sometime, I stopped using that and lost my login info and never regained access so in 2014, I started my new handle. Since then it has been a total shitshow of emotion, love, support, political anarchy, heartbreak and much more. I’ve met some great and not so great people there. But with this new time coming to a start, I don’t want to emulate too much of my Twitter feed, but it may get close to it.
I’m new to this and will get through it like many others. But in the meantime, let’s get stoned.
My first post here on Tumblr, recently started this to counteract my shitposting on Twitter. Much of what you saw there, will be here. I hope you all join me in some fun!
