So my day was insane, I was working basically two jobs (covering for sick coworker for second day in a row AND my own shit) had to leave early for a forgotten doctor’s appointment, had another minor procedure in an awkward body area, came home and lamented to the cats, then curled up with some instant ramen and watched an old doctor who episode to unwind. Got up to go to bed and saw that my procedure wound had actually bled through my pants and now im paranoid to get blood on everything/my bed.

Anyway I think this is what a typical day for jason and mainly dick/other titans members is like 😅🥴

Man, the damian tag is just full of some of the worst most bitter takes around right now, holy shit i hate it. But i also have to remember that im a fuckin adult and these are most likely younger folks, thus immature af. Just…what a miserable group of people over there right now, jeez.

Also sorry I havent been here and probably won’t be as much for the next like monthish! That house is officially mine so im in the process of fixing some stuff up over there and slowly moving. Any free time will also be spent on either video games or working on a commission thats so fucking overdue its gross. (But i just wrote a crazy thing called an OUTLINE so. Maybe ill actually get outta my ass and get it done.)

Anyway ill answer stuff as i can but if im not here for a bit dont PANIC im fine and alive and just. Being a fucking adult who owns a home? Wild.

Yes! There was something actually there! I imagined it was some magical mechanical/metal worm kinda thing, and the scan that Steph mentions only read for biological entities, not man-made. So Tim’s guess in the story is right.

The metal thing though, Damian could not only feel but had been there long enough that it was decomposing/rusting/whatever and basically poisoning Damian from the inside out, thus was affecting his mental/cognitive state, along with his paranoia of things being inserted into his body that I explore more in another story in this series.

It probably could have been a chest burster eventually! But more just ate at its victims from the inside out.

Steph and Tim unfortunately don’t get to go help take down who did this as they’re put on Damian medical watch in the cave. They watch through mask cams though as Bruce and Dick track and beat the shit out of the wannabe who released the artificial parasites, and track down any remaining ones throughout Gotham.

I was rereading some of my old stuff the other day (whumptober 2020 stories mostly) and I remembered I did a cliff hangar on a lot of them.

So, like…what stories or one-shots etc of mine that had an open ending or cliff hangar would you like to know more about? Id love to do like, maybe headcanons on what would have happened had I continued it. If that makes sense. Let me know!

I got my wisdom teeth out today. When I got home from my surgery this morning, I was still a bit loopy, and while my boyfriend was unlocking the door, I heard the neighbor’s dog barking, so I went up to their open window and started telling the dog about how i got my wisdom teeth out. I tell you this because I was just thinking I totally feel like Damian would do something like that 😂

I feel like Dami with that post wisdom teeth surgery high would be so funny, ESPECIALLY if he got the surgery as an adult like I did, so it was the boyfriend (Jon, of course) taking care of him instead of Bruce or Alfred. The shenanigans would be 😂😂

oh, you KNOW that the brothers are SO READY for post-wisdom teeth Damian. They're ready to record every second.

That's why Bruce put Damian under Jon's care, to save him a little dignity. So while he distracts them, Jon is the designated driver etc.

Meanwhile Damian higher than a kite is just crying in the passenger seat about how much he loves Jon and would kill for him and how Jason said they'd never work out but they ARE and they DID and Damian can't wait to marry Jon one day, and then starts crying harder because he imagined how handsome Jon will look on their wedding day.

They get back home and Damian just goes and lays in the grass with their dog and Jon lets their cat out of the house to join them. Jon just stands there drinking something and waving awkwardly at neighbors as Damian just lays in the grass with the animals, and calling to birds to be his friend.

(I hope you're recovering well! I still have my wisdom teeth and I'm dreading the day the dentists finally say I have to get them out 😭)

Pt.2 of Damian leaving Tim’s phone number and email around. He also has learned if he knows he’s going to get in trouble for something, he proclaims loudly, “tt., wait here I got this. TIS IT I, TIMOTHY DRAKE WHO HAS WRECKED YOUR CAR! Send any complaints to this email and or number to get compensation.”

Tim, with his bf (can be either Kon or Benard or can be both) who he met through the shenanigans: I have sudden feeling to strangle Damian…

honestly this is all I want for Tim and Damian. to be the annoying siblings that just rib the fuck out of each other in (mostly) meaningless ways that just look ridiculous to everyone around them, including their other, older family members

Tagging onto that farm AU except Batman and his team are in this world: Damian likes Jon but doesn’t want to take it any further out of fear of putting him in danger. Which is why he settles for flirting and occasionally making out. Jon is extremely smitten but I’d also afraid to take things further out of fear of Damian running away. Talia gets word about the object of Damian’s affections and goes to “challenge” Jon but Damian steps in and ends up confessing his true feelings about him in front of Talia.

listen, self sacrificing won't let himself have what he wants damian is my favorite. so yeah, he'll take the flirting and the barnyard make outs and the secretly funding new safe farm equipment. that's as close to happiness as he'll take, because anything further will surely put Jon in danger.

my favorite FLAW in this plan, always, is the fact that everyone around him see it, and it's soo damn obvious. So yeah, he settles for little PDAs etc, but Bruce knows anyway. Talia knows anyway. Talia, however, takes their little flirting as they are already together, that Damian has already chosen his beloved like she did with Bruce. So she HAS to challenge him. It's obvious.

And Damian gets bodily in between them and is still trying to avoid the issue before he finally just gets to the end of his rope and is like "yes, okay! yes, I love Jonathan, yes I am in love with Jonathan, yes he is the greatest joy I've ever had and my whole world revolves around his safety and happiness - so why would you attack something I hold so dear mother?!"

and he just ends up in tears between them and jon takes a step towards him before looking at Talia, who just nods and allows him to be the comfort her son needs and he all but RUNS at Damian and holds him until he calms down.

Damian and Talia have a proper talk later. and it all ends happily ever after haha.

god im such a SLUT for Gotham Knights. I dont care that it’s been like two years. The VAs were great, the story was incredible, the characterization was all I’ve ever wanted for batfam. Its just so GOOD and I dont care who disagrees. I just love it so much. 😭

Neither one is The Cook of the family, but rather, they cook together. Damian cooks lavish foods from around the world and Jon cooks classic American dishes. One might take lead, but they both cut and wash the food etc. But it's up to the lead of the night to decide if they eat at the table or on the couch.

Their date nights are disgustingly mundane. They watch bad movies or binge TV shows. Jon is so amused when they watch mysteries or true crime shows because Damian likes to play a little game with himself of how fast he can solve the crime. He once solved it before the reporter finished their opening explanation. Jon thinks it's the cutest thing in the world.

They foster animals from the local shelter. It's surprisingly Damian who has to reel Jon in to not foster fail every single one. They have foster failed at least three times though.

Jon purposefully hides Damian's fancy, rich boy clothes and forces Damian to 'borrow' his sweaters/sweats because he likes how Damian looks in them. Damian sometimes does something similar with Jon's shirts because he likes seeing his hubby shirtless, and because he thinks it's funny how flustered Jon gets when he sees Damian looking at him.

They have a spare bedroom (or more) that are specifically set up for when their brothers and Cass inevitably show up. Whether it is because they had a hard day, are mad at one of their other hero family members/friends, or if they're injured, the room has everything needed both for them to take care of their siblings, or for the siblings to take care of themselves if Jon and Damian aren't there. Anyone is welcome at any time, but Damian mails Tim and/or Connor physical invoices at their own homes to be annoying.

Damian initiates the couch cuddling, and will blanket-burrito himself/himself AND Jon without a word and just lean against him. When they go to bed, Jon makes himself big spoon before Damian can call it most of the time. But he likes to be little spoon when he's upset, and Damian is more than happy to be so for him.

Careless AU ~ Bruce Wayne partners with Clark and the Kent farm from it being overtaken by Lex Luthor. Jon has a crush on Bruce’s son Wayne and does not subtle things to get Damian’s attention like lifting heavy objects while working on the farm when he thinks Damian is watching. Damian also definitely takes note of Jon and likes to make him flustered. Throughout Bruce and Damian’s various visits to the farm, Jon and Damian have been caught making out in secluded parts of the barn or in the fields, and every time Jon still asks Clark “Do you think he likes me?”

haha Jon is like...super suave and flirtatious with Damian in person and yeah absolutely they make out in the barn like every fuckin' day. They hold hands back to the house, Jon has his arm around Damian when they sit on the couch, it's not like they're HIDING or anything.

But without fail every time the Waynes leave Jon just goes giddy schoolgirl. 'omg dad did you SEE Damian smiled at me!' or 'jeez dad wow I can't believe damian said that isn't he soooo funny?'

(damian does the same but like 'father there are inadequate safety measures in that tractor we MUST give them 7 million dollars to fix it by tomorrow so Jon doesn't die.')

One day Damian finds out what Tim’s direct email and phone number is, and continues to leave it in the most random places.

So Tim’s phone is continuously getting spammed with notifications.

haha it takes like a year in a half but eventually Tim realizes that the influx of spam messages always comes not long after he's pissed Damian off somehow. So Tim plots back of, idk, like getting people to hashtag spam all of Damian's socials. People get word of the famous Wayne brothers feud and it trends every time they ramp it up.

but oh ho Damian's plotting leads to idk kon or bernard getting and calling Tim's number and oh no they're hot~

Hi! I asked you (and a couple other DamiJon-esque) blogs a couple days ago or so about a specific panel for a fanfic I was writing. I came back here to check if you responded (dw--a few other blogs kindly got back to me as well) and I saw a recent post of yours.

I meant to/wanted to include this in the earlier ask, but it slipped my mind while I was sending it to so many people: but I absolutely LOVE your fics, and I hope you don't mind me gushing over them and your writing for a moment here! "Worn to the Bones" I would say is my FAVORITE DamiJon fic ever, I come back to it super often. It's so short and sweet and domestic and just captures how I like to think of the two of them so perfectly. I also really love "Silent In the Trees, Standing Cowardly" and all the fics in your Freedom AU of them. I'm pretty sure that "Beyond the Mountains" was one of the first DamiJon fics I ever read and I remember loving it so much, but I just checked and I never left a comment ;_; if I reread it soon I'll make sure to.

Anyways, I don't really know where I'm going with this but: I just wanted to say that I really love your writing and every time I come back for a reread I never get tired. So please take care of yourself and take your time writing ❤️ hope everything's going well for you, and that this wasn't too weird, since like I mentioned earlier, I don't really use Tumblr sooo....
