It pains me that Dragon Eye's existence is probably just bait for Longan fans to stay hopeful/ a backup plan for Devsisters in case they need to make money (I know, I know, they're a corporation) they just wanna drag out the Dragons storyline and it really does make me wonder how desperate they are.

I did hear the Cookie Run franchise is their ONLY successful game, so uh, I guess maybe they just dont want to conclude ANY storylines

I bet if they bring Longan back with Dragon Eye, that their following story will last forever 😭 they're gonna pull a "wait for next month for the next update!" like 200 times.

I do stand by that Longan should learn to embrace new life as part of the past, the past influencing life etc etc and that you can never bring the past back but etc... Not a redemption arc (No ATONEMENT here), more like cooling off somewhere like a hot pie on a windowsill... Just, something like that? RESOLVE THE TRAUMA?? Obviously someone should be counter-balancing their moral influence on Dragon Eye (honestly, Millennial Tree) but this isn't about "making Longan a better/good person" and more of a "let's have Longan confront their deep rooted insecurities, grief, and trauma by allowing them to watch their child grow up happily around Dragons AND Cookies."

BUT NO. GAh.

WHAT REALLY KILLS ME IS THAT IT SHOULD NEVER BE DOUBTED HOW MUCH THEY LOVED THE OTHER DRAGONS, HOW MUCH THEY ACTUALLY DID CARE FOR THEM. HOW OFTEN THEY SHOWED MERCY. They did LOVE the others, BUT THEYRE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AT EXPRESSING LOVE. THEIR LOVE COMES IN THE FORM OF MANIUPLATION, CONTROL, AND THEY COULD NEVER STAND TO SEE THEY'REIN THE WRONG. THEY CANT STAND TO EMPATHIZE WITH THE DRAGON'S LOVE FOR COOKIES AND VICE VERSA BECQUSE THEY HAVE NEVER FELT IT THEREFORE IT'S NOT REAL. THEY WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING THEY LOVE, ISOLATE FROM THE ONLY ONES WHO EVER CARED FOR THEM, AND DESTROY AND ATTACK AND GAH. GAHSHDIRHTBTKGPVOBKK

They CLING to the others despite the fact they're hated BECQUSE THEYRE MOURNING. MOURNING.
