So that OFMD fic has put my total AO3 wordcount as below:

Word Count: 3,999,774

Which means I am 226 words from reaching 4 million posted words of fic. Am I a little disappointed that it's not 221 so I could write a 221B? Perhaps.

But! This is still a momentous occasion! It feels wrong to just wait and see what fic I finish next and have my 4 millionth word be something random in the middle of it.

So, what should I write a 226 word ficlet about to culminate 19 years of fic posted on AO3 (including the backdated stuff), and what should my 4 millionth word be?

Can't Keep A Good Hawk Down

So! Hi. New "management" Here. I wasn't really sure what to do or say to start this off, but I figure, nothing to do but the doing. After reaching out to @flawedamythyst a while back, and taking a look at what I wanted to do, I came to the realization that I wanted to try my hand at helping out, and using my very own fandom-obsession to help. I don't think we'll have a 2025 auction, just because it's a little late in the year to do a comeback right away. But I'm looking forward to posting here periodically and reaching out to people over the next couple of months to get prepared for what I hope will be a great auction in 2026.
