Some random guy: *flirts with Clarice*

Hannibal: *staring at him silently from afar*

Will: You are really quiet today, Hannibal.

Hannibal: *keeps staring* No one plans a murder out loud.

Will: In my defense, i was left unsupervised.

Clarice: Wasn't Hannibal with you?

Hannibal: In my defense, I was also left unsupervised.

*Will is casually searching around the room*

Clarice: Hey Will, what’re you looking for?

Will: My will to live.

*Hannibal walks into the room*

Will: Oh, there it is.

[Hannibal enters kitchen dressed for the day in an a waistcoat, tie, and slacks. He kisses Will next to the coffee machine on the counter]

Will: I thought you said you were going to stay home today

Hannibal: I am. I have some things to take care of in the home office

Will: You're working from home, but dressed as if going into the office. *pulls at his waistcoat* You call this relaxed?

Hannibal: I am comfortable

[Clarice enters in her fluffy pajamas and bunny slippers, hair rumpled, and grabs coffee from Will's hand]

Will: *to Hannibal* Now this is relaxed dress for the day

Clarice: *looks curiously at Will, then to Hannibal* Oh, no, no, no babes. *gestures at Hannibal's clothes* You know the rule: If you're working from home, you dress down

Hannibal: *protests* This is me dressed down

Will: *snaps fingers* Tie. Off.

Hannibal: *sighs then removes tie and unbuttons top button* I will relax a bit, but the shirt and slacks stay on

Clarice: *kisses Hannibal deeply and grabs his hip pointedly* For now

[Hannibal kisses them both again, then takes his own coffee and wanders towards his home office]

Clarice: *shouts after him* And you better get those bunny slippers on!

[Hannibal's footsteps stop momentarily, but he says nothing]

Will: *kisses Clarice softly good morning* I say we do a surprise inspection in a few hours. Make sure he follows the rules of the house

Clarice: *melts into the embrace* Yes, sir. And if he doesn't he must dress down... in public... the next time we go into town

[Will snorts with laugher, Hannibal sighs from his office but remains wisely silent]

will, clarice, and hannibal take turns being in the middle when they go to bed (▰˘◡˘▰)

And I still say Clannigram is a valid option. Imagine impenetrable Hannibal Lecter spending his life with two people who can see right through him, in a house with more animals than he ever imagined living with. And he’s shocked at how much they can surprise him, even with all his manipulations, and he’s shocked at how genuinely happy he can be.

Just think about that for a moment. Let it sit.
