This is probably a foregone conclusion based on my activity in 2022, but I just wanted to make a formal announcement that I am retiring the Rune Factory Archive.
It was a blast running this place and gathering lost media and details for the Rune Factory series, but I've moved onto other things. I'm still a diehard RF fan (the RF3 JP limited edition is pre-ordered 💦) but I'd rather enjoy it in a private setting from now on.
This blog still contains valuable information, so it will remain up as a resource for other fans.
Some info before I leave:
Any scans, screenshots, and videos originally posted by me (here or via tatertotarmy) are free to use and post. It's silly to claim ownership over what at the end of the day is material I only scanned or screenshotted from a game anyone could get. Meme it to hell and back. Post your favorite hidden art. Share it freely. (Just don't claim you scanned it - it's a bit rude)
I will no longer be taking questions on this blog. BUT, if you have specific questions about the archive and the content I've posted, feel free to send a message here off anon. I may answer privately if I have the time.

Why have you stopped answering questions? I asked a few a month back and nothing...
Hi there! In short, I got overwhelmed. I currently have over 60 asks in the box, which is wayyy more than I'm used to. Before, it was a busy time when I received over 3 asks in a day!
Not to mention, to be completely honest, I've been focusing more on personal projects recently that have been bringing me a lot more joy. It's been very refreshing, especially when I've been in the hardcore RF hole for years!

Do you guys promote fan made merch? I think you guys would be able to help promote interest and I've seen a few creators not be able to fund full projects because of lack of outreach, and I honestly want them to succeed!
Hi there! Unfortunately, while I have previously promoted sales of official merch in the past (such as box splits), I no longer promote any fan sales that involve monetary transactions other than ones I manage personally (such as the charity auctions I ran in 2020). This is entirely due to my personal comfort level as to transaction-based promotion on Forest of Beginnings, as well as conversations I've had with people in different fan communities.
I wish anyone running fan projects good luck with their sales.
(BTW - there are a million asks in the askbox right now. I haven't forgotten them, I just need to gather the strength to climb the askbox mountain...!)
