“The Emotion Challenge”
”Don’t compare yourself with others, you may became vain and bitter.“ --desiderata “ Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.” ----William James “The real opportunity for success lies within the person and not in the job.” “Be aware of yourself.” “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.” “Everything that happens in your life, you should not forget that GOD is always there for you.” “Always pray, for you to feel better.” “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart” ― Helen Keller “Don’t let your emotions distract you from doing what needs to be done. Control your emotions or your emotions will control you.”
Emotion is important because your emotions, your thoughts, and your beliefs creates your happiness. According to Sheri Van Dijk , a Psychiatrist states that “Emotions serve important functions and are very necessary, even though they can be really painful at times. Think of your emotions as another sense, just like your vision, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, because they provide information just like any of those other senses. Here are some of the roles your emotions play:
Motivation -- Some emotions are prompts for action. For example, anger arises when something is occurring that you don't like, motivating you to act to change the situation. Another example is fear, which motivates you to flee, fight, freeze, or faint in order to survive when you are being threatened. In these situations, your emotions not only motivate you; they also prepare you to act by causing physiological changes in your body.
Information -- Emotions provide you with information about a situation that you want to change in some way to make it suit your needs better. For example, anger arises to help you see that there is something you think is unfair about a situation; guilt may arise to inform you that you have done something that doesn't match your morals and values. Your emotions may also act as a form of self-communication, providing you with emotional information before your brain has had time to rationally process the concrete information it's receiving from your senses.
Communication -- Emotions help you communicate with others more effectively. First, because of the universal facial expressions and body language associated with emotions, we instinctively recognize these emotions in others. This means that someone will be able to guess that you're feeling sad if you're crying or that you're feeling angry if you're frowning and your hands are clenched into fists. When someone recognizes how you feel (or you recognize how someone else feels), that person can empathize with you and act in an emotionally appropriate way, such as consoling you when you're feeling sad.
In dealing your emotions, don’t forget to pray always, ask guidance from the holy spirit and always look for others not just for yourself.

“This works for me”
This works for me because i feel better when i play my guitar and listen to a music, and also sing sometimes. I feel relieve when heard music, especially those songs that I like.
Three Phases of Stress Response (according to Hans Selye)
Hans Selye explained his stress model based on physiology and psychobiology as General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS). The General Adaptation Syndrome is a model that is comprised of three elements or phases which describe the body’s response to stress:
1. Alarm Stage
In this phase, the initial reaction of the body to stress is that it labels the stressor as a threat or danger to balance, that is why it immediately activates its fight or flight response system, and releases the “stress” hormones such as adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol. These hormones enable you to perform activities that you don’t usually do.
For instance, when one’s house is on fire, his body shifts to the alarm stage, his stress hormones released (particularly adrenaline) and then he lifts a very heavy appliance outside the burning house. But there’s a catch – your blood pressure starts to rise after a minute or less, which can predispose you to damage of the brain and heart’s blood vessels, putting you at risk to stroke or heart attack. The muscles you’ve utilized might also become painful due to tissue damage.
2. Resistance Stage
After the body has responded to the stressor, it is more likely that the stress level has been eradicated, or simply reduced. What happens next to the fight or flight response is that you body’s defences become weaker, as it needs to allocate energy to the repair of damaged muscle tissues and lower the production of the stress hormones.
Although the body has shifted to this second phase of stress response, it remains on-guard, particularly when the stressors persist and the body is required to fight them continuously, although not as stronger as it could during the initial response.
3. Exhaustion Stage
During this phase, the stress has been persistent for a longer period. The body starts to lose its ability to combat the stressors and reduce their harmful impact because the adaptive energy is all drained out. The exhaustion stage can be referred to as the gate towards burnout or stress overload, which can lead to health problems if not resolved immediately.
If you are stress, your emotions reacts because they are connected to each other. When you encounter stress, your emotions feels better when you do such things that changes your mood to a good and better and it helps your stress’ relieve. And you’ll feel better anyway.

“MY KIND OF LOVE”
v STANDARD OF A GUY
Ø Gentleman
Ø Respectful
Ø Has a good manner and right conduct
Ø Joker/sense of humor
Ø Adventurous
Ø Clever/witty
Ø Has a good dreams and goals in life
Ø Has a good perception about/in life
Ø Humble
Ø Hopeful
Ø Thrifty
Ø Brave
Ø God-fearing
Ø Responsible
Ø Has a good self-control and patience
Girls also must have a standard of a guy because it help us to be more safe and happy when the time comes that we make our family. Because of the standard that you want, it makes your life better, you feel satisfaction, your definition of love is consummate. Psychologist Robert Sternberg proposed a triangular theory suggesting that there are three components of love:
Intimacy
Passion
Commitment
Different combinations of these three components result in different types of love. For example, combining intimacy and commitment results in compassionate love, while combining passion and intimacy leads to passionate love.
According to Sternberg, relationships built on two or more elements are more enduring that those based upon a single component. Sternberg uses the term consummate love to describe combining intimacy, passion, and commitment. While this type of love is the strongest and most enduring, Sternberg suggests that this type of love is rare.
Acts of Service, this represents a love for me according to the 5 languages of love. And it states that, “Can helping with homework really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most wants to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter. When others serve you out of love (and not obligation), you feel truly valued and loved.”

This mandala represents my personality, because just like the leaves, i go where the wind blows or just sway and go with it. Like the branches and fruits, i take pathways, make decisions that has a good product sometimes and a bad/no product at all or being unuseful, useless decisions or works. As you can see, the mandala is blur so just bare with me on my descriptions. The mandala has a small circle at the center, that signifies or describes my inner feelings, my goals, my personality and my inspirations in life. that circle is like the main brain of mine, the one who controls/holds everything, every actions. And the six leaves around the circle or the first leaf that grows in each branches, represents my strength and weaknesses. Weaknesses that i must exceed or surpass and strengths that makes me more motivated and set my works/goals to a good product/ good one.
