I hate my writing. I’m not just saying that to gain love because no matter the amount of kudos and positive comments I won’t change my mind. Everything I put out feels awful and the same. It used to bring me so much joy but god damn I hate it. The other day I hoped to raise my spirits and amongst the thousand bookmarks on my works, most noted with cute stuff I found these. Sure you can have you opinion but why are you bookmarking things you don’t really like so much? Do you also know that writers can see your notes?

So just a reminder: fanfic writers are writing for fun and for free. Most of my writing was done while being a full time student while working full time. I used to find joy in it. I’m not looking for critiques of my work because I’ve got that in bunches in my own brain.

“Where’d you get that from?” Lily gestured to the chocolate heart Remus currently had in his hand.

“It was on top of my books when I went back to my table in the library.” He shrugged, adjusting the books under his arm. “It’s not the first thing I’ve gotten this week.”

At random times he would find chocolates or pastries and at one point a new record with his things. No one seemed to have any idea where they came from, but so far nothing had been cursed. He was pretty sure he hadn’t fallen under some love spell either.

“Interesting.” Lily had an odd look cloud her features.

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“Lils.” Remus stopped in the middle of the hall before the stairs to the tower.

She bit her lip for a moment, looking away from him. “It’s just… I think you’re being a bit daft.”

“Why?”

“Who was nearby each time you got those things?”

The heat rose in Remus’ cheeks. “Oh. Sirius.”

“I don’t think your admirer is so secret.” She nudged him.

Hi, I was think today of a fic I read some years ago, I tried to find it on Ao3 and couldn’t and I’m thinking maybe it’s one of your deleted fics (I know you deleted some of your works a few years ago). I don’t remember many details but basically it was: Remus and Sirius started dating short before Valentine’s Day, but Remus hates that holiday and doesn’t want to celebrate and Sirius feels unloved… does it ring a bell? Just to know if it was indeed deleted I’ll stop trying to find it on ao3…… thanks! And sorry if the ask makes you feel uncomfortable bringing memories from a bad time, it is not my intention. I love your writing and I always enjoy reading your works. Thanks! ❤️

I honestly don’t remember this 😂😂😂 if it’s not in the collections of one shots on my ao3 then I probably did delete it.
