Honestly, the hardest part so far of making the DTH videos has been chopping down the script to fit within 30 seconds to a minute and make sense lol.

I have about 3 ready to go, and plan on releasing one a week once it gets going alongside the Grim City comic (my BABY and group project w friends) 🤓🫶🏽

What happened to caricature of a corpse?

This is gonna be the last ask I answer in awhile about CoC, but basically I didn’t like the direction it was going and the wasn’t ready to post a story on my own. On a deeper level, it’s an extremely dark story that was going to touch on traumas I was still processing while writing it the first time.

It might come back someday as something else entirely because I’m attached to the characters, and I do enjoy writing darker stories sometimes, but I wasn’t in a great headspace. I do appreciate the interest and the audience it brought me. I’d like to give a proper review and another shot in the unforeseeable future, like a zine series of different short form drama/horror stories. At the moment, it’s just a smidge too personal even for me who talks a lot on my socials.

The other, less intense, reason is that I didn’t want to write about another sad dead white woman. I say that as à Sofia Coppola diehard fan lol, but that’s just not my Thing tm. I still care about Matilda, and stories about female celebrities crashing out engross me, but I dunno. I think I could do better with more time...

GRIM CITY / CHAPTER ONE: Wrong Way / Coming to Tapas on June 31 2025!!!

Thank you everyone for your support as we continue to work on Grim City, it’s something very near and dear to our hearts. More blabbering under the cut:

It’s been a long time coming, we’ve been working on Grim City for over a year now. Weekly meetings to plan and go over the complete outline and story multiple times, script reads (volume one script was completed in January 2025), and so much more. It’s been insane to watch our team grow and change, and I want you to know if you’re reading this I wrote this specifically for artists in uncertain times. The plot revolves around a major corporation’s music festival that threatens to destroy the city, but it’s equally tempting to the protagonist who wants to make her dreams come true. It’s a late coming-of-age, a dramedy, and most of all it’s written from a very sincere place.

The world is scary right now and it feels like it’s ending, but we can live in it together. We can create something beautiful and stupid, authentic and cheap.

I look forward to sharing this with you.
