YES!!!! An insane amount of tech and engineering went into those, they're not just pokeballs someone slapped a fancy sticker on or something (no shade)! There's a reason they're so rare and it's not just that they're illegal; they're a huge pain in the ass to make tech-wise.
what happens if like
I throw a poke ball at a pokémon that’s already been caught by someone else
it’s illegal in my region I think but like
would it even work??????
it'll just bounce right off, far as i know. i think everyone's tried it at least once on accident. it also tends to piss the trainer right off so that'll happen too
hi! i come with great news: my beloved Alolan Muk has just been given a clean bill of health from our local specialist! a year ago i noticed that Slippy's poison spikes were looking soft and were slightly discolored (healthy Alolan Muk have off-white spikes that usually appear as teeth/claws) and after a few months he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease that, over an Alolan Muk's life, leads to their poison slowly weakening...which, as a pile of poison sludge, is Very Bad.
it took a few months for him to get diagnosed because...well, there isn't much research into Muk, let alone Alolan Muk. most people just assume that they can fight off all disease because they're just puddles of death. which is usually true! but...not always. :(
luckily, we figured out what the problem was early on enough that he could be helped. it took a while, but now my vet says Slippy is a happy, healthy boy! i just gotta give him supplements in his food.
in his honor, could you talk about Muk? Alolan or otherwise. i know they're horrible pets and there's a very valid hatred of them, but i think theyre so cool! theyre basically man-made pokemon and my darling little boy is so pretty and friendly and im so lucky to be his owner...even if i can only pet him with expensive specialty gloves that i have to throw away after five uses haha
aww! sounds like slippy's very lucky to have an owner who cares so much about him!
of course, muk isn't a pokemon that we generally want hanging out in residential areas or places with a lot of plant life, on account of the highly toxic poison it exudes as well as its intense bacterial load. however, it has an important role in landfills, where it helps break down trash that would otherwise pile up! in fact, there are some places that it's done such a good job of cleaning up that muk numbers have begun to dwindle there- not enough garbage to go around!
muk is also an important indicator species! indicator species are pokemon whose presence gives us a general idea of the state of the environment. there are actually scientists who specialize in studying how the appearance (or disappearance) of muk relates to pollution levels in an ecosystem!
We have a duskull infestation (well, it's more like they have a team skull infestation) so all of our dishes are plastic. they like throwing em down the stairs
Is it weird to let your ghost pokemon haunt you for enrichment? I mentioned letting my gengar out of his ball to haunt the house every once in awhile and the other trainers got weird. maybe I should have just gotten skitty idk
to be fair unless you ghostproof your house, letting an untrained ghost type just wander around haunting your house USUALLY ends in most of your glass objects being broken and your oven turning itself on when you're not looking. maybe your gengar is just uncharacteristically tidy but that's not the standard
I'm sorry please back up, your mother told you that having toys was bad luck
hey king what're your thoughts on banette? :)
they freaked me out as a kid. my mom would always tell me having toys was bad luck, so i never had any in the first place. so in theory i was pretty safe from them
I really need people on here to learn what religions are. I knew in some places arceus worship was like The Thing but it's wild to me how they don't seem to know not everywhere is like that lol??
isn't arceus literally pokemon god though? i'm so sure it made all pokemon. maybe not humans but pokemon for sure, which then evolved into what we've got today
