The Sudanese Ministry of Health has revealed that at least 11,000 cases of dengue fever and some 9,000 cases of cholera have been reported in the country in the recent period.

In a press release, Sudan's Health Minister, Haitham Ibrahim, said these include 325 fatalities from dengue fever and another 66 cholera-related deaths in 12 the states.

He made the remarks after meeting with Sovereignty Council Vice Chairman General Malik Aggar. "The health sector has witnessed a significant improvement in pharmaceutical availability and medical consumables after the Ministry of Finance committed to providing monthly support, in addition to support from several donors,” he said.

The meeting discussed the reports of health emergencies and reports received from the states.

True revolution starts with talking to your neighbors. Can't organize shit if you can't even be willing to learn your neighbors names.

Not saying it's safe to have deep political conversations with everybody, you have to use your best judgment and learn how to read the person you talk to. But the best practice for this, and path to understanding how to talk to strangers about heavy shit is by being open and willing to engage with small talk with others in your local community.

Go outside, ride public transit, have genuine interests in hearing your neighbors struggles and concerns. To paraphrase an elder in the revolutionary fight, if you don't know where to start with organizing, walk out your front door, look forward, look back, look side to side, and pick a direction.

I’m so fucking sick of all my friends and all the non-organizer people in my life not fucking showing up for Palestine. Like Jesus Christ it’s like pulling teeth trying to get them to do anything. Sure a few of them will send the email and call tools but they almost never do anything more than that. It’s always “I already have plans” “I’m feeling drained today” “I needed to stop at McDonald’s because it was convenient” and I’m just so fucking sick of it. Like it’s one thing if it’s one time. But it’s such a fucking pattern. Sometimes you actually can cancel or change your plans to go to something more important. You can go to an action or an event even though you’re tired and drained and not feeling great. You can actually choose to be hungry for 30 minutes longer because you don’t want to support an actual BDS target. Stop fucking prioritizing your own comfort over fighting to end a genocide we're all complicit in whether we want to be or not every single fucking day.

Im so fucking sick of all the excuses from everyone all the time as to why they can’t or don’t show up for Palestine. I go to shit all the fucking time even when I’m exhausted even when I feel like shit and when I’m tired and burned out and in pain. Because that’s what it means to be in solidarity. I cancel my other plans and I prioritize working to help stop a genocide. I'm so fucking sick of people in my life barely even doing the bare fucking minimum. And I’m so fucking sick of not calling them out on it. Especially the people that I’m not that close with because I don’t want to burn the bridge purely because I know they might at some point do something useful to the fight. If it weren’t for the potential that they might sometimes occasionally do something small to contribute to the fight, I would just cut them out completely because it’s not like they’re even good friends to me (some of them are actually pretty shitty) and I don’t respect people who don’t want to fight against injustice and oppression and a fucking genocide.

I’m so fucking sick of having to extensively thank everyone every time they actually fo show up to something or bother to do something for Palestine. Like I have to fucking praise them and thank them for being an ally and actually taking action for once. Because I feel like if I don’t then they won’t ever do anything ever again.

I’m so fucking sick of people not showing up for Palestine. I’m so fucking sick of all the constant excuses. At some point excuses add up to a pattern.

yes!!! i think everyone should learn about the freedom flotilla, which is setting sail for gaza very soon and needs to have eyes and ears on it, as israel has a long history of attacking, raiding and occaisonally killing humanitarian workers on aid ships to gaza, as they did in 2010 with the first freedom flotilla (because that's how long Gaza has been under siege)

Check back for more. I also removed sources like Jewish Voices of Peace and Breaking the Silence that do good work but have come under fair criticism from Palestinians.

Israeli soldiers are conducting a series of invasive operations across the West Bank, abducting numerous Palestinians, killing and injuring civillians, and engaging in destructive raids on homes and Palestinian property.

This is what happened today (April 18) in the West Bank:

At dawn - Israeli soldiers launched a widespread operation in various parts of the occupied West Bank, breaking into homes, damaging Palestinian properties, and detaining at least 26 Palestinians, including two young women.

At day - The aggression continued as soldiers proceeded to assault Adli Rayyes and his son, Hashem, resulting in various injuries to both of them. Palestinian medics had to transport them to Jericho governmental hospital for treatment.

Afternoon - The Israeli Occupation Forces moved to the central West Bank where they entered the town Deir Ballout (west of Salfit city). There, they confiscated a telecommunications car that was being used for repair and maintenance work.

Evening - Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp (north of Jericho). They stormed and ransacked homes within the camp and abducted a young man named Nayef Abu Dahouk, taking him to an unknown destination. At the same time an Israeli military jeep rammed into a young Palestinian woman in Jenin (northern West Bank). She was taken to the Jenin governmental hospital, and is currently suffering from fractures and severe bruising.

The Palestinian Detainees Committee reports that over 40 Palestinians were abducted by Israeli soldiers TODAY alone, from various parts of the West Bank, with a concentration of these abductions occurring in Nablus, followed by operations in Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron, and Jerusalem.

Two homes belonging to Mohammad and Ahmad Zeidat, who have been kidnapped since January, in the town Bani Naim (near Hebron) were also demolished.

Over 8,310 Palestinians have been abducted by the Israeli Occupation Forces since October 7, 2023.

If you need further proof the U.S. and Israel do not want to actually take Hamas to trial, it's the veto against Palestinian statehood. If Palestine were to become a state then its governing body can be taken to trial, including for that genocide charge they constantly accuse Hamas of. They don't care though and they never did.

Citing an allegation shared by a Palestinian child welfare nonprofit, forum officials said there was credible information the teen had been forced to confess after he was “subjected to both physical and sexual torture, including rape by an object.”

The Israelis told State Department officials they had found no evidence of sexual assault or torture but reprimanded one of the teen’s interrogators for kicking a chair."

"BREAKING| Israel's national security minister, Itmar Ben Gvir, said he believes that death penalty is the right solution to the prison overcrowding problem that Israel is having.

"I'm glad that the government approved my proposal that will allow the IDF to build 936 (in total 1,600) additional detention sites for security prisoners. The additional construction will allow the prison service to take in more terrorists, and will bring a partial solution to the prison overcrowding crisis", he added."
